@@RH-tv9hk The hierarchy in the family and the pack is obvious. Just kidding. It is impossible to talk completely relaxed in front of the camera. Their relationship is their personal matter, but it is subject to criticism because it has been made public. It is his father who sets the boundaries in communication. I think he should correct those things that distract from the essence. His goal is noble and he needs the support of as many people as possible who can potentially donate money for neglected animals. Therefore, he should be flexible and think strategically. Being your own is a good thing as long as it doesn’t take us away from the goal. We should not be strict with this wonderful man.

I have to stick up for their relationship. My mom, who is a wonderful 92 years old, is from Hungary so she says some words incorrectly. I tease her jokingly. She laughs and teases me about my broken Hungarian. My mom and I are extremely close and our relationship is like theirs; we talk and goof around like they do. I got my humor from her. If his Dad was bothered by it, I’m sure he would not tolerate it. There is so much love between them it is very apparent.

Any close people can have certain dynamics at times. I could tell from the first vlog when your dad first came he wasn't around dogs or animals much...Lol. The first night had me splitting a gut with the bird and dogs. It's good to see him trying to get "Michael Douglas Roger" to trust him, even though he is so scared of him. Absorb as much of him as you can. Spend time talking about his life, past family history video as much as you can. Laugh much, dance,hug and learn. I wish I had done it with my dad and especially my grandparents. They are treasures. Lee you have sooo much patience with all the dogs that you bring to your house..but my friend please use some of that wonderful patience with your lovely dad.. he is wary of Roger and he doesn't have your empathy with them..YET.. but with a little patience and training he will do..he was complementing you on how you brought Bentley around to trusting you and that pack and that he had followed that journey by watching your videos..he was giving you praise and you just brushed it off and corrected him that she is a girl.. yes i know it can be difficult to deal with an elderly parent..but Lee we have to cherish them including all their foibles..I speak from experience..I'm an older lady and absolutely love what you do..I have lost both my parents now..i lost my dad early..when I was only 19.. I was a daddies girl so was devastated..but i moved home so mom wouldn't be on her own and we had always butted heads..but we grew together..i chose to give up work and look after my mom when her alzheimer's got too bad to safely leave her at home..I did that for 7 yrs..yes it was hard. Its 24/7.. you can't have time out etc. .but she was my mom and I loved her so..we need to cherish and love them whilst they are with us because when they're gone its too late to say ..oh I wish I'd done it said this..please forgive me if you think i have overstepped the mark..but what I saw is a dad showing his pride in his sons abilities..his house..his name..if you have the time try and listen to The Living Years by Mike and the Mechanics. @@kristinjayne6720 i lost my dad in 1979..a very long time ago but I miss him so much..cancer got him..I was nurse training and he had a bad back and the dr just gave him painkillers..well my dad never ever took time off work but he kept going back to the dr..in the end the dr suggested my dad was faking it..well my dad was born in 1921 in Michigan USA..left school early to earn money as they were dirt poor..he joined the military ..they were stationed over here 🇬🇧 when he met my mom on a blind date..4 months later they were married..and no they didn't have to..my sister wasn't born until 47..he had 2days furlough then went back to training. This was Feb 1944..the training was for DDay and he landed on Omaha beach..so my dad did NOT shirk anything ..in the end they scraped the money together to see a private osteopath who said he didn't think it was his bones and sent him for an xray..he was riddled with lung cancer ..in those 6 months my dad was being palmed off this was spreading throughout his body by the time they found it he was too far gone..I was SO BITTER..this was my career. .i believed i would be helping people..so I left nursing..just couldn't face it..but i found a job in retail..my mom...rightly so said i needed to work. .well was a part time cashier..then into cash office then maternity cover for Personnel mgr... I was so good..they trained me to full management. .then i became a regional trainer..weird how life goes isnt it.. yes that song gets me every time..the other two songs that do that is I can't make you love me sung by George Michael and Photograph by Adele.. we have our happy memories and thats nice to go back and smile

A couple of weeks ago I think I saw a video of Lee with his Dad, soon after his arrival, in which he was instructing his Father on how to behave around Roger who has a history of fear/aggression. At that time Lee said many of the same things as in this video. Roger appears to have improved since then, a credit to Lee, but still seems skittish. So what people may be picking up on in their comments is some exasperation from Lee in having to repeat the instructions - who knows how many times🤷‍♀️

Well, I have a story...here goes. I live in a Carribean Island where anything can and will go wrong. At 5 am I shut the A/C off cause I thought I heard a rain storm. We are now in hurricane season. Sooo, I go out of my room to see the upstairs flooded like serious ankle deep. Not much you can do if it's 5am but go to the main road and turn off the valve. I turned on the kettle and watched Asher House...Thank you so much because I smiled and admired all that you do. Cheers man
