@@brianpark406 Swiss German is merely a dialect, not an entirely different language. Every Swiss-German is capable of speaking and understanding high-german (the "standard dialect" in Germany), spoken in this interview.
@artho2001
@artho2001 5 жыл бұрын
@@brianpark406 That's a common misconception. There really is no such thing as a «Swiss German» language. It's rather a bunch of German accents spoken in Switzerland. The difference between those accents can be huge and differs from place to place. Roger is just speaking the standard version of German, which is known and spoken by all German speakers, whether they live in Hamburg, Vienna or near the Matterhorn.

The black and white tuxedo model never went well for Roger. So the interviewer got it right, it was an usual choice for him and he gave up with it after a short stint and then all the other guys started to use the paintjob to give it further life among the eyes of the recreational scrubs aka customers. So, contrary to what Federer says here, he never got used to the white shiny part of the racket and its different feel whatever that feel is or if it is even a real difference.

There has always been the question if Roger deserves to announced as the best player of all time. Well he does! Not only that he won 20 majors or 101 tournaments, but he also chose the „stony path“. He still challenges the best at 37 and doesn’t miss a 1000 or a major. Of course he missed the clay season the last three years, but he did so for due to health issues. This year he came back and played more than convincing on his „weakest“ surface. He just simply „adores“ tennis! Luckily he found true competitors with Rafa and Novak, who showed the same determination to their sport and lifted tennis to a new and outstanding level. Unfortunately, the younger generation lacks many of the virtues the big Three owned. Thank you Roger!!
