Taking Bassem Elbitar's point further, I'll say, has anyone ever seen Federer out of breath even after a very long, gruelling rally, in which his opponent made him run from one end of the court to the other? I've never. One of the most beautiful features of his game IS his effortlesness. His movements on court are so well co-ordinated, so well judged, that he hardly uses any extra energy in moving around the court, scarcely ever breaking a sweat. It's probably his superhuman anticipation of the opponent's movements that give Federer the advantage of being at the precise spot, inthe exact physical position required to counter the other player's shot, in the process, expending the minimal of energy, and creating a very soothing visual. What a great, GREAT player!
