Roger Jardine is the first person I have heard in a while who knows exactly how to get South Africa out of the doldrums.

Hi Sizwe, great program once again, with a phenomenal guest in Roger. It is so unfortunate that CSN did not make it onto the ballot paper. I have great respect and admiration for RJ and his team and hope that he/they are able to surface elsewhere within the political sphere pretty soon. He is absolutely pragmatic of the huge tasks that face us within an array of South African complexities.

South Africa has such incredible potential and yet seems to be held back by poverty of a creative, collaborative, constructive, and strategic leadership. Let's float the whole ship higher rather than allowing the (especially former) captain and crew to scuttle the ship and sell it for scrap! Great interview. Thank you.

OMG. Cadre deployment is the evil twin of public procurement. Has there ever been a more true statement? The damage that the ANC's public procurement process have done to our finances is incalculable.

I agree with some of his policies but I wholeheartedly disagree with how to implement them. We should spend more on infrastructure, but we shouldn’t prop up the private sector at our expense. This is the same as the ANC forsaking their policies like RDP for GEAR. We all know which portion of our society has more capital, that would only increase inequality.

Why is it most of these guys come here and promote private partnership . We do not need private partnership , we have the best engineers in the world , some are actually building nuclear power plants in the UAE , our problem is politics , you get the right people to lead this country and rope in the best of SA talent to fix our problems .

We have had smart people in Gorvenmnt like Trevor Manuel,Tito Mboweni n the likes who r nw Directors of multinational corporations, so,therefore it appears as though tht they used their political influence to gain connections to dis big corporations. We therefore need to intentionally emphasize tht RSA needs a strong political ideologist as a leader in trying to advance developmental programs tht speaks to redistribution of our country's wealth and land equally, strengthening of SOE'S.We need a leader who believe tht the natives need to be capacitated and funded to own farms and produce, not employees,If one finds discomfort in tht discourse, tht aspiring leader is not listeningto the plight of the native majority,So our guest needs to b clear on his political stance..with due respect

Nice guy... but over 50 minutes of nothing said. Comparing Obama to Ramaphosa through the aircraft carrier example is highly miscontextualised. An aircraft carrier is very different to the ANC in the sense that he is trying to portray for the simple reason in that the AC will go wherever he says it will go. Its better to have used an analogy of a cruise ship where everyone is drunk and trying to steer that ship.

NOT EVEN A SINGLE COUNTRY THAT HAS A NUCLEAR WEAPON IS IN DIRECT CONFRONTATION WITH ANOTHER COUNTRY THAT HAS NUCLEAR WEAPONS, ALL THE COUNTRIES WITH NUCLEAR WEAPONS ARE SAFE HEAVENS. 😢 NO BOMB FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY HAS LANDED ON A NUCLEAR POWERED COUNTRY. UKRAIN DOESNT BOMB RUSSIA 😂😂
