+blamethemachine007 Moore was good but his humour was off in relation to what Bond should be. At least he did For Your Eyes Only which must be considered somewhat of a masterpiece but that aside the whole Moore-as-Bond-era was less than brilliant. But you're right that QUantum Of Solace was too Bourne-ish, but Skyfall changed the editing style back to something useful.

+blamethemachine007 Me too, In the Kingsman movie Colin Firth's job was to be Roger Moore's Bond. Gentleman British assassin. Also an indirect showcase of taste, manners and overall CLASS. A younger Moore would have KILLED that role.

This guy did so much good, his 76 here, but still appears to have, plenty of hair. I saw him at a book signing in 2008, very friendly fellow. But the only 80 year old, i have ever seen with brown hair.

Sir Roger Moore as was he actually lived on the same manner as I did but unfortunately I never had the privilege to meet him I would have loved to a met Mr Roger Moore you always struck me as a very humble man recently the local newspaper has been running hard to find out if he has any relation still living in the Streatham area he actually was born and lived in Stockwell which everybody knows is just done road from Brixton he actually used to to frequent the dance halls in Brixton which is called the fridge now which is the cinema be used to be a dancehall back in the 50s and 60s and then he moved to Streatham with his first wife he actually live just opposite Streatham Common it would have been a cool thing to meet Mr Roger Moore but that's just my opinion I reckon he was one of the best English actors ever to Dawn television I think he's version of James Bond was fantastic we have many good English actors Michael Caine being definitely up in the top we Sir Roger Moore and Sean Connery fantastic I just wish that they would show more English films on English television I get bored watching American films because I am not American I much prefer to watch English films I'm in my 50s now and I do like watching an old good English film lovely Gabby

Joan, he was a lovely man in real life, I was lucky to of met him 5 times over the years, most notably in 2011 at the Persuaders 40th anniversary party in London, such a down to earth man, we chatted together like old friends. I treasure our photos together. 😁
