I’m not a drummer. I’m not even a musician. In fact I’m a grandma who has followed Queen since my salad days. Just want you to know, I’m following you because you have entertained me with your incredible falsetto and drum skills since we both sported long hair and tight leather slacks. Today...not so much. My hair is short and leather pants make my legs sweat. (Shrug) but I still admire talent. Thank you for the music, especially the beat. ROCK ON!

Roger Taylor, for all the youngsters, is one of the best drummers in R&R. Taylor's trademark was always playing what was best for the song instead of a standard beat for every album. Taylor was and is a very melodic drummer, probably because he sang on every song by Queen. Yeah, if you've just started playing drums, Roger Taylor is truly among the elite of the drumming world!

Hello Mr. Taylor. It is an honor to watch your video and it was a privilege to have grown up listening to Queen, in my opinion, the best rock band of all time. I was still a teenager when I first knew about you. Today in my fifties, my heart still beats of joy every time I listen to Queen Music. With my deepest feeling of admiration to you for your great performance playing the drums, composing songs, and singing in the band as well; Juan Manuel, a true admirer from Medellin, Colombia says God bless you.

I´ve have never had the chance to become a drummer or a musician, sometimes life guides us through other paths, but seeing Roger playing drums on TV when I was 6 years old, the Flash Gordon Movie, Radio Gaga videoclip, etc... it really shocked my world, and make me love drums. I still have this pending task with drums. Awsome lesson and a beatiful sneek peek to Roger´s life. Genius. My best regards from Argentina. PS.: What an awsome drums sound!!!.

Yeah he's bee dog that since the start. Watch the Keep Yourself Alive solos from the Rainbow and Hammersmith. He controls the sticks with his index finger rather than his little finger. He always does it with paradiddles. Very unorthodox. Gene Krupa used that technique too.

I'm 52 and highly unlikely to ever learn how to play another musical instrument. I am sure all the up-and-coming drummers and newer kids coming into this can learn a lot from you. Watching your style makes me realize that when I was in the drum and bugle Corps back in the 1980s that are Drum Corps was good but what they didn't know...WOW!!
