Mr. Waters, I highly doubt you'll see this but you have no idea how long I've been waiting for this reissue. This album along with The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking are amongst what I consider the greatest of all time. Thank you for delivering such quality work time after time.

Amused to Death to me is the best Pink Floyd album ever, yes I know it is not actually Pink Floyd but to me it is. brilliant when he performed so much of it in Auckland a few years back.

That's what i love about RW. He sees both sides of the coin, speaks his own mind about his beliefs, philosophy's and doesn't give a fuck about what anyone thinks. That's why i for one love his lyrics/music. The mans always been miles ahead of his peers. Think about what he was saying and his age when he wrote DSOTM/The Wall even The Final Cut ( under rated album!) He new our tyrannical big brother governments plans back then... Even before Radio Kaos was written.... Who needs information? in today's world eh ;)

One of his greatest works, if it had the Pink Floyd™ brand name it would be regarded with the same awe as The Wall and DSOTM. Musically, conceptually, lyrically; it's a timeless masterpiece. So dense in meaning, history, philosophy. And he at last comes out as, as he put it, a radical atheist. Jeff Beck on guitar gives the music a different tone than Gilmour but it gives up nothing and suits the material better in some ways. I wish he'd do, say What God Wants or Watching TV in his solo tours, although I suppose most of the audience would rather hear Floyd stuff. A towering achievement. My fave album by any artist.

Waters is the lovely guy, but the things he spoke about are much more difficult in real world. There are no simple answers to the questions about the policies of any president or prime minister. Though we still have to think about lives and deaths of those people under the bombs definitly.
