A young relative of mine said Roger Waters was coming to town and he was going to the concert. I said, "Oh, I love Roger Waters." He looked quite surprised and said, "I didn't know you liked that kind of music." I said, "Oh, I've never heard him sing. I love him because of his politics on Israel and Palestine. From a journalistic point of view I’m not really impressed, as the journalist doesn’t challenge Roger Waters, he simply agrees on everything with him. That being said, I’m so happy that Roger Waters got to say the things he said. I wish more people would stand up like that against injustice in general and the world wouldn’t be so profit-driven. Israel is a secular state, the only democratic one in the ME and established according to International Law, not by religious fanatics with the Bible in hand, as Roger suggests.
