Ive heard David say plenty of times he was an atheist, and alot of the song of his last album "On an island" are pretty much a testament to that as well. I love how Roger states religion as a personal choice. Religion is something I think about a lot. I'm not sure if I believe in a higher being or not. I'd love to have a sit down with Roger and discuss. He's a difficult, stubborn, bossy, single-minded and an extremely particular man who is very hard to get along with. I can imagine throwing a drink in his face at some point only to come crawling back for the sake of political and moral discussion. I love him :)

It's mind blowing that some publications choose to label Roger as an antisemitic yet he's literally one of the most liberal and politically active classic rock stars you'll ever find. Roger Waters is not really an atheist, as he loves all of humanity and wants us all to get along just as God does. That's what God really wants of us, is to recognize that we are all brothers and sisters of this world and to love and help one another to care for our planet, all of it's life forms and each other. Roger is taking God's point of view that love is the answer. God is love.
