Honestly I'm surprised that you're not writing cartoons because the writing here is impeccable! While comedic moments were kinda lost based on the performances of some of the actors you formulated the writing quite well and the structure of the story is pretty good for the most part. It honestly has the spirit of the original cartoon but it relies less on jokes and actually takes moments more seriously. Overall I'm impressed with how much your writing has improved over the years from the old "lol random" style of parodies that you made to more structured stories with actual character building and still similar style of humor when it comes to your parodies. Overall nicely done.

Yeah good job here mate. This has some good moments like Knuckles acting like a Bounty Hunter and how Eggman seems much more threatening here, and Metal Sonic was properly introduced instead in the animation like they met before even though it was his first apperance in the show. The Missile chase sequence was good too, especially with the 3D backgrounds.

Now THIS is better then the actual Boom; entertaining action scenes, Eggman be more competent here, everyone doing their part smoothly, and Knuckles not being dumb, just moderately average! I really wish the actual show will take notes from this cuz this is how you make something that's moderately entertaining! Heck, I couldn't help but chuckle in a few scenes!

yay you done it, i liked how you still kept metal sonic's badass-ness, and the rocket chase sequence was surprisingly good, and the thing tails went through reappearing in the end instead of being a throw away joke was a nice touch, and captain theory voicing silver and wave's twisted love child is also nice (i shall dub him silver theory the swallow, original character i shall steal for my forces). now fall of from space, get amnesia, and do it all over again! muhahahahahahahahaha.

Chrisy45054 It's based on Season 1, specifically "It wasn't me, it was the One-Armed Hedgehog". I liked Season 1 a lot (this is slightly better) bit Season 2 blows both out of the water. Humour is more self-awere with more forth wall breaks and some excellent new locations. And the continuity is also drastically improved.

In my opinion you really managed to make this be superior to the original version, Roger. It's not perfect but, if it were a fully realized episode of the series, it would be one of the best, hands down. I'd actually gladly sit down and watch this version of the show. By the way, when Metal Sonic grabbed Sticks, for some reason I imagined him ramming her back into his knee, Bane style. That would actually have been pretty funny, because he'd have broken her back like a stick.

These rogerfied episodes are much better than the originals. Like the one where originally Sonic’s just being delayed from the library for nine minutes with nothing fun. Then it becomes funnier. A giant tornado, Knuckles meditating in the tornado’s eye, Eggman being sensible and attacking his nemesis on sight, and then BAM, aliens. And this. Eggman goes to the police to go get them to solve the issue, but the police are sensible and throw him in jail while chasing Sonic.

I liked this! Better than the show, hands down, although even a fake Roger Craig Smith Sonic voice still annoys me. They mentioned slidepuzzle 3000 a LOT. But it's very good that the episode had genuine tension and something to get you invested in the form of a character's life being threatened at the end, and the fact that Eggman was petty enough to threaten a life over something like that is a good showing of his character, seeing as how he'd probably do that in ANY continuity, being immature and all.

hm I dunno, I don't think this was as good as the first one. There are large jokeless stretches despite still being framed like a comedy. The way events unfold are kinda awkward and a lot of the stuff, like the puzzle and knuckle's motivation, are overly complicated without much pay off. Speaking of Knuckles, it feels like his subplot was forgotten as soon as it started.

There were pros as well as cons over the original. However the biggest pros are definitely Roger Eggman's personality as well as getting a tiny sliver more context. I actually like how Knuckles is less of a focus in this one. He honestly took too long anyways doing very little. Here it's harder to tell if he's really as dumb as he's depicted. It gives Knuckles a certain... Competance about him. Which he honestly never should have lost. Just keep him a bit hardheaded and that's all you need.

it feels like portraying the characters "correctly" took precedence over the narrative, comedy and action. A lot of stuff just seems at odds with itself. Knuckles is kinda an idiot kinda... I dunno what exactly? Eggman is more sinister, but his actions manage to have less rhyme or reason than the actual cartoon. Sonic and Tails are both almost pure action characters, too, and there's no comedic elements with metal sonic. This is also partially just roger's own writing weaknesses. He sometimes has a habit of introducing a joke that's way too complicated in a very short amount of time or making a joke more long winded than it needs to be. Like I can see the fundamentals of what he's going for in a lot of cases, like giving tails an achievement story, letting sonic take a supporting role, making the characters more distinct, and having more context, I just don't feel like this episode really managed to pull it all together, where I really enjoyed his first one

Game Sharks wells knuckles didn't really have much of a sub plot beyond what hard started. It's not explained super well but it seems like Knuckles was intentionally distracting the cops away from Sonic, so there really wasnt much more to the story they could add without making it seem irrelevant to the overall story imo

I always figured Team Sonic had some kind of back-up plan for in-case Sonic's gets framed for whatever reason. Knuckles was just playing out his part of the plan by getting the cops off of Sonic's tail. Knuckle's just added his own spin to the distraction. I think fish ornament sub-plot was either a coincidence that happen right before the video's events or a plan Knuckles and sonic went over before the cops came. It depends on what you think of Boom Knuckle's character.
