Excellent work Roger. I usually adjust the release instead of the decay and the offset on the partial to increase play time on every pad .And to have the same velocity i just press the fixed velocity button.

Love this video...I was wondering if you had a video going more in-depth on the beat sync feature. I'm having an issue. I am doing everything you have done in the beat sync. But when I move to chop sample. The beat sync disappears. What am I doing wrong?

Excellent! Maybe you will create a tutorial for your vs2480?
@theMIDImaniac4 жыл бұрын
Hey you! Thanks for passing by and dropping a message again :D You have asked me that before and I have indeed some ideas for the VS-2480. I'm totally not experienced yet IMHO but I have to dive into it because it's just such a beautiful machine.

Thanks Roger. Great video. Beat at the end was dope! Question; why did you adjust the one shot, excl group?
@theMIDImaniac3 жыл бұрын
Hi Yves, thanks for asking. I checked my video again and your question makes sense. I can't remember why I did the one shots. The excl group makes sense to prevent doubling the samples but the one-shot...I forgot. I notice that I now use other techniques like, longer release and fixed velocity button. Perhaps I should do a new video to to show some finger drumming and then quickly tell those small adjustments. Thanks!

Nice video , all fit together so well. Whenever I use time stretch and then chop from that menu my chops always go back to the original tempo. Do you have to assign them to an excl group to keep the time stretch tempo ? I always just resample what's playing then chop that sample.
@theMIDImaniac4 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for dropping a comment and question. I encounter the same issue regarding the original BPM. What I do, is adjusting the pitch (coarse/fine tune) of each sample but yes, that influences the pitch... So, your option is an excellent one if you don't want to change the pitch of the time-stretched sample. Grtzzz, Roger

My slider values are moving on their own I need help
@theMIDImaniac4 жыл бұрын
I had the same on my MV-8000 and my MV-8800 has it to from time to time. The first thing to do is an inside cleaning. Make sure to take time to do this. If that doesn’t solve then the only solution is to replace the sliders...let a repair shop do that. Good luck!
