I have a 1992 Gibson ES-165 Herb Ellis. I got it used in 2005. A great guitar.

Nice drumming. 😉 Those Herb Ellis models are a great bargain for the young jazzer that can't afford a 175 or a carved top model. Great sounding boxes.

tiny b I have a 1992 Herb Ellis. This is the same construction as a 175. A great guitar. I don’t know why they sold it at such a low price! But, I’m glad they did!!

Drums are my first instrument and I wouldn't play guitar the way I do if it wasn't for my foundation in percussion (drums/tabla). Thanks for the kind words!
