Primoz Roglic has failed against a domestique of Jonas Vingegaard in Paris Nice 2024 , the gringo Matteo Jorgenson, who before signing for the Visma team was eating the snot at Movistar. I have no doubt Roglic will be in top shape, however his team is nowhere near as deep as VLAB and I think that will affect him mentally in a severe way. People always forget cycling is a team sport. No one wins alone, especially in today's peloton. Rogi beating his old team would be one of the greatest sports stories ever, however I just don't think it's possible.

Unfortunately Rogla had had very bad luck in the past and also his bike handling skills are very questionable , especially because he has started cycling in his adult age and has lack of the cycling school but anyway in this short period from 2016 up he has achviede for many of us unthinkable heights and ,2020 he has almost won TDF but we all know what happened..... His performance wasn't up to that of the other big names from 1991 to the end of his career. There's a near unanimous opinion that he didn't dope.
