Are you excited for Rogue? Which card has you most pumped?

Touched…. She will open up so much deck building as she can have any trait and play almost any card in the game.

Something about cards like Going Rogue and Southern Cross is that you can stack multiple kickers like if you put touched on a hero with aerial you’ll get both aerial and Stalwart beefing up the effect for the cards.

Rogue comes out today! Watching this to prep for the first game. Love your breakdown, as always!

100 percent getting this. Well sooner or later I'll own all of Marvel Champions but this one just rocketed to first on the list.

such an underrated game. I don't know why expensive stuff like Magic, Pokemon etc. gets all the attention while this fairly priced and solid game gets kinda overlooked by the general public
@nightwishpower2 жыл бұрын
maybe because its a coop game and some people prefer duel games

The more expensive games have collector's value. It's as simple as that. There is no small amount of vanity involved in those games. Fantasy Flight's Legend of the Five Rings was easily my favorite card game of all time, but it died so quickly. Such a shame.

Rogue looks like she has amazing potential which fits hit character. Every single event card of hers that we've seen is superpower traited so this would be a perfect pack for them to finally do a Deft Focus reprint for those that don't have GMW.

Rogue looks awesome! I do wonder how superpower adaptation will pair with Gambit, as many of his cards are more synergized to his hero ability. But she may be really powerful with certain hero pairings! Will be fun to experiment

Initial impressions are good. Seems like a strong combatant with interesting abilities. Thinking on her for a few day I realized, at least initially, she’s going to be an edge-case rules nightmare especially with regard to Touching non friendly characters. For example, look at all the weird things that can pop up if she has the Criminal trait. It’s gonna be a fun time after the New Year (whenever that is).

I CANNOT wait to play Rogue. Super interesting possibilities. We definitely gotta play Co-op with her sometime.

Great video as always! 👏 I think Rogue is going to be one of the most interesting and fun heroes in the game, her ability feels unique. Really looking forward to playing her in the future 👍😁

Rouge looks amazing. I think she will become my new favorite once she releases. I really don't see a weakness I'm her deck. And on top of that, the art is great. I love it.

She seems pretty cool, though it looks like she'll really shine in multiplayer as opposed to solo. Don't know if I'll pick this one up as a solo player

Bulletproof belle seems good but the touched attachment goes back to you at end of your phase so does that mean bulletproof belle can only Be used if you make the enemy attack you during player phase?

Are you planning to do a video on what you’d recommend for marvel champions - for me there is a lot of redundancy creeping into the game now. Unlike the other lcgs, eg Arkham/lotr there is no real story to play through - the campaigns don’t really count imo - so it’s becoming a ‘collect them all’ to get minor differences in play - with power Creep in cards - rather than new surprising design changes. So for eg. Would you recommend to get red hood and the latest campaign pack for a new player - rulebooks online? Or would you still say base set + some expansions before the game starts capping out?

This deck is crazy. Seems almost too powerful. It makes me think by the time we get a Professor X hero he's going to have a "Play this card to kill all villains" card.

Also playing alongside Rogue might be a bit annoying, she'll steal all my best cards! We've got to remember to fish them back out of her deck after the game.
@mc-designhacker2 жыл бұрын
Discarded cards always return to their controller's deck. So she'll have your card in her hand, but once she plays it, it will go back to your discard pile.

@@mc-designhacker Oh cool, that's not too bad then. Otherwise it'd get pretty annoying with different sleeves, forgetting etc.

Everything with this game keeps getting cooler, but.... Power creep?
@VaultBoy132 жыл бұрын
Not really, because the game has deck construction. You can always build a deck that makes an older hero stronger. And, sometimes the newly released heroes don't have that strong of a pre-con. So, building them up with older cards that synergize well improves them. Even with the enemies, there's so many modular decks that can be combined together to make things harder. Plus, The Hood upped the difficulty with alternate Standard and Expert sets.
@jenhowie45682 жыл бұрын
Yup, power creep for days! Sure you can balance the game yourself by deck building. Kind of feels like the designers of the game should take a bit more responsibility for that though… you know, cause it’s their job. I suspect their main job is just to get people on a hype train to buy the new content though! So the power creep makes sense
@guglielmoscecspir10532 жыл бұрын
The modern heroes feel all pretty rounded at the very minimum, but they also all tend to be on the stronger side, although Strange or Cpt Marvel are still top dogs so it's hard to talk about ''powercreep'' flat out. The math behind the game is fairly easy to the point of being evident when something is too good for the standard we are used. I'd say so far they tried real hard to keep things as coherent as possible, but obviously there will be some cards stronger than the vanilla ones.

You can't grab your own cards with super power adaptation...cant touch yourself.
