@@TerryJonesPrinterRepairs 301 mk2 redline were acceptable and it was the 901 you need the eq box with and the pa 800 series bose ones. They also need room to work effectively. Mark S. Actually, they are. They're very well built, solid, heavy, play clearly and distortion free at high volume, hard to over work and last, literally, for decades. Sales methods were shady, no doubt. But a well made product, believe it or not. I got my first pair back in 1999 from my then girlfriends cousin who fell to the sales pitch, bought them and was afraid to take them to his house because his mom would've pitched a fit. Their flat response was lacking for sure. But I had a 10 band graphic equaliser at the time that brought them right to life. I loved them. Everybody I ever met that had them loved them too. I wound up trading my stereo for a pop up camper to my neighbor because his amp died. As far as I know, he's still running them 19 years later. Great product. Crap marketing company.
