Rogue Urethane Dumbbell Review: Are They Worth It?

REP Fitness has the same urethane dumbbells as Rogue, only difference is one says rogue and one says rep, they likely use the same or a similar manufacturer. I went with the rep urethane as I saw the reviews were a lot more favorable than rogues, and I was not disappointed. The knurling was very consistent, as well as the color of the dumbbells, which was something else noted in a lot of rogue reviews that the color was inconsistent. The rep fitness ones are also cheaper, have free shipping, and they offer discounts like local pick up, and a points system to save money. To me there is no reason to go with rogue over rep when it comes to the urethane dumbbells, unless you just really want it to say rogue.

These Dumbells high quality and EXPENSIVE!!! For the to have inconsistencies. Rogue I really hope you guys fix’s these problems. It’s Unacceptable!!!!

Rep are $400 cheaper for the 5-50lb set and are the exact same dumbbell. They even have the same knurling issue.

I have used the rep ones since then and yeah they are pretty similar

@ If you had to do the purchase all over again and saved $400(5-50lb) with the Rep, which ones would you get? I emailed Rogue to see if they got the knurling consistency fixed but I haven’t heard back from them yet. 5-75lbs the Rep are $1060 cheaper. 5-100lb the Rep are $1809 cheaper.

@ I still really like the rogue dumbbells but I’ve also used them a lot more so I probably prefer them. Either way I don’t think you can go wrong!
