How come some are doing squat clean and others not? That's not fair.
@ah70274 жыл бұрын
the rule is do a clean. Squat versus power isnt designated therefore either option is valid. In weightlifting competitions you dont have to squat your cleans or snatches. But you tend to lift more weight with a full lift. also like to add that majority of these lifts were pretty solid lifts. The only ones that were bad lifts didnt make the lifts. Mcleod needs some work on his rack because hes almost hitting his knees. But other than that.
@buddypop93585 жыл бұрын
So after watching live I picked up on coach B. Therefore I went back a few times. He gave clinic on the clean. Rewatch learn and implement.
@ah70274 жыл бұрын
some of the stuff he says is good. Other stuff is just useless. Like at the beginning when he talked about her widening her grip. Literally wouldn't have sped it up. Widening grip has drawbacks to it as well. For me it actually slows my rack down.

@leonardovilchez90265 жыл бұрын
These judges should take points off from incomplete cleans. Some of these dudes are lifting a lot of weight but with poor form, which should be an important aspect when judging who's the fittest person on the planet.
@ah70274 жыл бұрын
im more for if it meets weightlifting guidelines. As far as form goes in the clean the only bad lifts are if the elbows touch the knees or a "dirty clean" where the bar is caught off the shoulders and the bounce it back up in the squat. you technically cant adjust the bar until your standing.

I love Clarence (more than any crossfitter, so no hate) but you can't compare. It's like saying a swimmer would smash *insert any of the best swimmers in triathlon*. Yeah, they would. But thats because they're a single discipline sports person. If you do multi-eventing sports you aren't (or its uncommon to be with a few exceptions) at the top of any single discipline sport and if you are it is usually to the detriment of something else.
