When the events are timed it is absolutely right to use the buzzer because it shouldn't be on a stopwatch.
@lordgraill12 күн бұрын
@@seismic6402 nope, it does not bring anything to competition. They used stopwatch literally everywhere in every competition before. Atlas stones, truck pulls, wheel of pain - you name it. There is a reason all the athletes struggled with a buzzer - it was never used and they forgot about it. Also, it is just lame - the purpose of a sled pull for example is to deliver a heavy object from point a to point b. Once it is delivered - boom, fix the time. There is a dude with a stopwatch nearby anyways!

FFs get rid of the buzzer. This is strongman, it's all about strength. Don't need to be thinking about hitting a buzzer after events. Edit: Just to be clear, I'm not hating on Rogue, I think Rouge do an excellent job at hosting, streaming, and paying their athletes. It's one of my favourite strongman shows of the year. But this addition of the buzzer is a poor one.

Ok, amazing show, some critiques.. Be rid of that bzzr thing forever. The shield bag carry here was unnecessary, just make the track longer for the push & pull The kettlebell press I can only hope will never be seen again. Once you get near comp weight it's too big of a kettle bell. Personally as a fan I thought it was odd to see a kettlebell in Strongman but that's just me To reiterate if that buzzer could be thrown into the pits of mordor that would be fabulous Honestly all around amazing show. I actually didn't notice it watching it live. But you are right Tom Stoltman's sandroll was more centered than Singleton's, Singleton's was touching the line. You can just see how much stronger Thor is (except the press obviously), but he loses so much time on the running events , i think he could do much hetter in powerlifting cause there only your actual lifting strenght matters, if he can press 200kg above his head then i don't see why bench presses again would hurt him, strongman is literally half running at this point , entertaining? Sure , but it is not about who is the strongest anymore
@adamh673013 күн бұрын
The sport has always included movement and athletism to a degree and Thor is one of the all time best. Even beating more athletic opponents like Mateusz and Singleton at their best over and again. I don't like Thors personality but his fitness for this sport is unquestionable

Strongman has always been like that, I don't get folks like you who said that it's "not about who is the strongest anymore" it NEVER WAS.
