I wish we would have grabbed Burnes after the 2023 season instead of signing Glasnow. As nasty as Glasnow is, having one single 120 inning season in 8 years wasn't worth that big of a contract IMO. Burnes on the other hand is a workhorse. Burnes has more innings pitched over the last 4 years than Glasnow has over his 9 year career by almost 100 innings.

Get Kim until Elly is a free agent, move Mookie to 3rd and Edman to second and trade for Robert Jr, for center, or if Mookie is afraid of the hot corner move him to second and Kim at 3rd. It will make the team better defensively, faster and younger or just give the Reds a billion dollars for Elly. Elly is a unicorn also. I would like to see the Dodgers get some slick fielders up the middle, guys who can make the hard plays consistently not just routine plays. Besides that we got a lucky remember the roller coaster of Bullpen games let alone spooky 5th inning we were gifted in Game 5 in WS and Freddie’s miracle WS power to compensate for Ohtani injury. The disturbing trend is people still see Ohtani batting lead off which is ridiculous for your 54 homer LA record power hitter. If Sho bats 3rd or 4th and is protected by Freddie or Teo then I can see a 200 rbi season. Plus you do not want your star pitcher to steal bases to injure his wrist 😮. As far as Flaherty get him anyway because I contend ROKI should start as 102 mph closer until he gets a 3rd pitch mastered then he can become a starter 🎉. To get Flaherty just tell his Mom who seems to be his home spice that makes her son pitch well, then Jack will take less because his Mommy says so 😅.

No on Flaherty. The Dodgers have several young starters waiting for a chance. Give them that chance: Casparious (2.08), Kopech (1.90) and Dustin May can round out Snell (3.12), Yamamoto (3.09), Ohtani (3.14 in 2023), and Glasnow (3.49)-all of whom would be aces on most other teams. And that’s not even counting Kershaw and Gonsolin. So yeah, duck Flaherty and hope for Sasaki.

San Diego minors is decimated and soon there major league roster( trading or losing musgrove Profar, Kim and cease maybe moving arraez). No catcher now also. 2 guys( those two guys had bad seasons also) in the top 100 vs dodgers 4 and dodgers have 4 teens ready to make the leap soon into the top 100. Dodgers have more to lose than any other team if they miss out on Roki. For some reason they haven’t been coming to terms with top international talents like all the other teams have been doing. For example the Giants have an agreement with the number one international free agent (not named Roki) and three of the top 20. The Mets have a deal with the number 2, the Yankees with number 10, the Padres with number 20 number 34 and number 38. Obviously if these teams sign Roki they will terminate the contracts they have with other players. But why haven’t the Dodgers agreed to terms with other international free agents as well? Why are they choosing to put all their eggs in one basket? Either they have a deal in place with Roki already and have told most of their Academy players to look elsewhere for the 2025 class so that they dont end up missing out on life changing money for their families . Dodgers have ended up with a top 10 talent pretty much every year since Freidman came.If they don’t get Roki they are going to end up with basically nothing for this year’s international class.

If he's above 25 years old, it would've been a regular free agent process, meaning that the announcement would come after the agreement. However, his age makes it a reverse draft. His potential and raw talent as a pitcher is more than Ohtani, Darvish, Senga, or Yamamoto who were elite pitchers in the Pacific League. I only know of 3 pitchers in Japan who were able to pitch above 160km/h in high school. That was Ohtani, Fujinami, and Sasaki.
