Oligoden Pretty much the only new cards from the SD that advanced the strategy are Router and Tracer (and maybe Quadborrel in a pure deck). Silver is useful too, but I'd argue that another maindeck Rokket with the standard issue Rokket effect isn't what the deck needed.

love the link 1 and absorouter dragon. I would recommend the following: - Apprentice Witchling: Has synergy with Rokket Tracer and popping it while it's equipped to borreload savage lets you recycle REDMD from GY. cute play, yes, but has won me some games. - The dragunity link with Dragon Ravine and dark wurm engine. Dark wurm becomes your debug, though it isn't as versatile and lets you pendulum summon.

One of my favorite combos is to start by making Ib the World Chalice Justiciar. You can search World Legacy Guardragon, use it to summon back a monster, Link-2 with IB who will summon World Chalice Guardragon from the deck, and they because you have WCG and WLG you can start the Guardragon combo my making Elpy and moving it. At worst this combo gives you Borrel + 1 Rokket on the field, but you can easily extend and do more. Also, with Tracer being a tuner, it's relatively easy to make that synchro 5 Ib (although you can't do it if you used Tracer's effect before).

Hey Lithium, I have been asking around as of late to see if any yugi tubers are down to test Heraldic Beasts in 2019, they have a themed Rota, a themed monster reborn that summons 2. Grave recovery and 2 lvl 4 dragons with good/decent effs. You can effectively do the whole gaurdragon play with something like Engage+(The Foolish of ED monsters). Definitely not tier 1 but I think it would make for a great/fun video :)

I'd suggest playing 1 dragon's mirror rather than rapid trigger, that way furious becomes more of a bls of sorts, you don't to worry about losing to much advantage and field presence to bring him out. Also I've been trying twin triangle dragon for extra swarming thanks to the new level seven and definitely play 1 rokket synchron now cause it turns foolish burial and dragon shrine into 1 card rank 8s which is definitely comentable.

I dont know about running 3 of the light dragon and the allure. I recommend the rokket draw spell due to being able to get that special summon in the end phase from the effect and then with the link 1 you can get that rokket you destroyed.

I know, right? I almost never utilize any archetype engines (seriously, keep Dangers and Sky Strikers FAR away from me) and stick to pure decks with the right support. Those decks have gotten to the point where the engine is the actual deck and the rest of the cards are just there to help it.

This is a conscious decision from Konami (and I think Vrains directors too, don't quote me on this) that they wanted to make the anime decks and duels more complex and meta. Before, anime decks received a lot of support, but non-anime decks from core sets with less support were making the money (six samurai, chaos, BA, Zodiac, Pendulum Magician). If you look at them within their respective eras (before newer support), Onomatopeia, Shark, Galaxy, Barian, Vertex, Predeplant, Lunalight, PK, and Raidraptor decks were casual decks and hardly made money in sales. But they were being given support across sets. Similar to Synchros, Links came out very strong within first year to make money (buying new support), sell the new mechanic, and support Master Rule 4. Thus Vrains decks were broken to begin with. From the anime perspective, Konami began appealing to more mature audiences in contrast to the characters of Zexal and Vrains (one factor being that the older duelists are buying expensive cards) and created more complex cards and duels to appeal to them. Konami wanted to make structure decks that actually mattered and would sell as well (problem found at local Walmart and Target), so they began making more meta-impactful decks (Tyranno, Darkness, Cyberse). So for your question, I imagine it is being able to sell new support that attracts BOTH casual and meta players, to increase sales, make the anime relevant, and make Yugioh a more complex game state.

He summons the tracer and the silver Rokket dragon off the sawnborrel dragons effect. (Sawnborrel pops a link monster on the field and summons Rokket monsters from the hand or graveyard equal to the link markers of the destroyed monster, which in this case was 2)

Sure, without those in the extra deck you can run other extra deck cards, focus more on the fusion and drop wyburstar engine. Quardragons make the deck more agressive, so something to solve that is needed.

Honestly, you play to much Rokkets lol. I'd cut Silver, Magna and Metal to 1. The field spell too. The fusion is ok, but since it only fuses from the field, I wouldn't play it. A card you should consider playing is destrudo. It can special summon itself and is a Dark Dragon, so the snyergy is defiantely their. Maybe even Dangers for more consistency/extenders.
