Fascinating. I look forward to a few years from now, when competitive E-Sports players will get suited up in *Rokoko* uniforms & you can go play VR games with amazing realism & feedback using a personal suit - without the artificial interface of a game controller to get in the way.

hi brother passionate about audiovisual, it's been a long time that I explore blender, I had stopped for a while because of a low power machine but I have now resumed, and I find extraordinary the way you use the MOCAP on blender, a tutorial would be cool, I plan to buy the MOCAP accessories but do a tutorial on the installation and handling process please, how to have the movements live on the software and record them in real time. THANKS

Ian, this video is probably the best example I've seen using the Rokoko suit... that Pitstop scene was fire. However I've have scene other videos where the capture wasn't accurate and the animation wasn't good. Do you recommend the suit to new indie film makers that say want to take a Alberto Mielgo [Netflix: The Witness] approach? Hope you or someone replies...
@RokokoMotion4 жыл бұрын
Hey Christopher, I don't think Ian is checking this feed, so we'll just jump in :) We'd be interested to know what videos you are referring to. Often, the setup and correct use of the filters in Rokoko Studio are the key to getting good performance. If any of those things are not being done right, you'll see bad data (as with any system that isn't set up correctly). We have a number of good examples of them being used right. Loacher Film's review is pretty great and straight forward: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXytipiDpcl2rLc But as always, we would recommend anyone who are unsure about the data or have questions to book a free online demo with one of our product specialists. They will show you the suit in action and you can request the moves you'd like to see. And then they can send you the data after as an FBX to check out. You can book here: www.rokoko.com/en/book-demo Hope you find the right solution for your work! Best, Rokoko
@cpsstudios4 жыл бұрын
@@RokokoMotion Wow! I'm impressed by your response. I will look up these examples as I am an indie director looking to animate characters myself with a DIY face camera set up... something like- kzbin.info/www/bejne/nILQi3mQasmLpLc -but with this suit instead of the other. I appreciate your recommendation and do some more research in the direction you've provided. Thanks again.

@@cpsstudios Great to hear! With our Smartgloves (opening for pre-orders on Sep 16th) and our face capture (currently for iPhone X but in October also for Android) you'll be able to achieve something similar to what you link to all within Rokoko Studio :)
@cpsstudios4 жыл бұрын
@@RokokoMotion I looked at the vids... appreciate that. I will make a request for a demo soon. Now you say you will have Smart Gloves... all good news! Currently I'm looking for productions that used your set up... Ian was the closest I could find to an indie production. If you know of anymore individuals I can review, please let me know... or if you have vids on the Smart Gloves... thanks again for all your attention. Just trying to make the right decision for this type of an investment. I will look at the face set up on Apple as well. I have an iPhone 11.
