So good! Thank you, I've booked a live sesson, they're so helpful, after the update, I had to book a appointment with them because I couldn't get my smartsuit pro to work. so we pretty much did the basic troubleshooting and something I wouldn't have thought of and we got it to work! Thank you so much, you all are a life saver!!

This is a good video. I'd also recommend a 3 port Anker battery, one port powering the body, and the other two powering the gloves...

Little advice like this is very helpful when the creators either don't mention it on their webpage or forget to do it in their videos.. This sounds logical when reading it but you're in the dark as a customer with this question hanging unanswered.. Thanks you saved me this one.. cheers

I recently received my pair of SmartGloves. I found them to be very well-made, but they appear to run a little small. My hands are near the upper boundary between medium and large, so I ordered a medium pair of gloves. They were very tight, and a bit difficult to remove, so I requested an exchange for a pair of large gloves. The folks at Rokoko have been very cooperative, but because I live in the States, it will cost $100 in shipping fees to exchange the gloves. I suggest that, when in doubt, go one size larger.

I had to buy two battery packs to run three USB connectors, and I'm glad I found this video how to smart gloves properly on smart suit. I was struggling to put the gloves on. 🤣

So how do you power 2 gloves and the suit while the battery pack has only 2 outputs? Do you use a second batterypack for the suit?

Thanks, just what I needed!!! It was like you read my email to support :-) The only thing that is not clear is if both gloves need the wire. Logically they would be, but it is not mentioned. Then you mention a 2 port battery, which confused me more as I thought you would need a three-port battery. This was also the case with the video setup of the gloves, it only mentioned doing it to one of the gloves, but I assumed I would need to do both?? BTW- where is the best place to put in requests for the software? I would love to use a mix of the gloves, face and some vive trackers for the body vs the suit. The suit works well for an inertia based device, but sometimes I need a bit more fidelity than it can give me, so in this case, I would love to use your awesome software to do the full-body IK using a 10 point vive set up and mix it with your gloves and face solution. Right now it looks like I am going to have to Frankenstein it all together. Thanks again!

Hi Gregor Punch - Yes, both Smartgloves need to be powered via the cable to a battery. The three-port vs two-port battery is just because in some setups you will have a smaller battery to power the suit, and then power the gloves with their own seperate battery with two ports. Also, you do need to set up / pair both gloves seperately to the computer - sorry we weren't clearer about that!

I have 3 port battery with output 2.1A/5V each. In support section on website you recommend 2A output. Is it matter to have a little bit more then 2A? Thank you
@RokokoMotion2 жыл бұрын
More Ampere is fine! For the glove-ready version of the SSP we even recommend having a 3A output. As long as you don't up the voltage you should be fine - 2.1A is no problem at all!

This product looks great. I have a few questions. So if someone wants to get a pair of gloves to experience the feeling of gaming like this but only have 9 fingers. How would this effect the product.
@deluxepopper3 жыл бұрын
A little late answer but.. Not owning this suit or gloves yet so i don't have any real life experience but depending on what finger it is i would pair that glove finger/sensor with a rubberband to nearest finger to get the data then do some cleanup later.. that way the hand mocap wouldn't look too wonky with 1 finger hangins loose in the air

whats the recommended battery to use? i only see one usb connection for the gloves, what abotu the other glove?
@RokokoMotion2 жыл бұрын
Hi Fabio, if you have the glove-ready kit (Smartsuit Pro II and Smartgloves that can connect to only one battery), this video will explain how to set that up: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pYeUmpmCmsaWhck If you have the standalone version of the suit and Smartgloves, you'll need one battery for the suit and one for each glove (or one powerful battery with three USB outputs)

@@RokokoMotion Ok, this is a 2 port Pack. I bought this. But now, i realize, that i need three ports! Why is a battery with 2 ports always advertised? These things are heavy and I think you should carry as little as possible. I now need a second battery or one with 3 ports. I am annoyed!

What are the short cables for? They are very short.
@filipmichalek94793 жыл бұрын
I think they explained that in their Smartgloves webinar (~1h long video).
@RokokoMotion3 жыл бұрын
The short cables are for users that want to have the batteries placed on their arms with a strap or similar. Especially if you are using the gloves without a suit, a battery like this one on strapped to the side of your upper arm can be a good solution: www.anker.com/products/variant/powercore--mini-3350/A1104011

Just reading all the comments i start to wonder if there are separate pockets on the suit that is tailored to all the batterypacks.. stacking 2 or 3 batteries on top of each other and falling on them would hurt as a m**f**er..
@RokokoMotion3 жыл бұрын
There are! There are pockets in the back of the suit that can hold all your batteries, and they get zipped up nice and tight so they can't escape :)
