finally found an impressive video to represent the rokon!
@polanmi15 жыл бұрын
awsome- the rokon looks like alot of fun-nothing like camping with a cooler- cold beer and steaks

Been reading about the Rokon in ads for years, good to see it in action, and with the trailer!

This is my favorite Rokon video. This made so much sense to me that I haunted Craigslist until I found a 1969. I probably paid to much but I don't care. Now, there has got to be a trailer available somewhere...........

THIS BIKE IS NOTHING COMPARE TO Tarus 2M
@humptydumpty7629 жыл бұрын
DinoPal Its really sad, because of politics and a lack of information they are being prevented from obtaining a better vehicle for much less. No offense to the Rokon, I still think its a great vehicle and this is a really good one here.

Really now. And you own a Rokon or at least have experience with a Rokon beyond being a KZbin expert, which makes your opinion valid in any way shape or form?
@johnjriggsarchery24576 жыл бұрын
No way, Bob. Finding a 1969 Rokon for sale was lucky as hell. That's a classic!

Nice bike and video. Those "out of the bike" shots were specially cool
@muley18011 жыл бұрын
Dang, why did you show the trailer? Now I have to have one of those too! Great video, I liked how you showed the pre-trip stack of gear and then loaded. Also, cool over the shoulder shots of the trailer at speed. The only thing missing was a shot of your camp and then your campfire at night. Great adventure. Thanks!

Nice post! The only vid I've seen of the single track trailer. Lets see the some vids of how the trailer does crossing logs, rocks, and really tight woods sections. Thanks!

It goes down those paths pretty well.

One most definitely does not want to go through much mud with an open trailer like that, that's for sure. I would have placed a tarp on the bottom, then wrapped it all up so as to keep the gear from being sprayed with mud. Just saying!

Cool rig, cool video. Thanks for posting this! (But I'd bet the bug bites took some of the fun away.) Btw, are these Rokons like super-duper reliable?

@krankiev The Trailbreaker uses a Kohler 172cc 4 stroke. Check out the Rokon website for any info.

Rock on with the Rokon. You could pack out an elk with that trailer, love the chuckle as you get it up to speed, 35mph, that's 60klm normal road speed in Australia.
@mrwhiteinca9 жыл бұрын
Alf Bittner 35 mph is normal road speed on most country roads in the US too. I would be scared to go faster than that with that trailer. it seemed a bit squirrelly! lol but looked really fun

You trailer reminds me to the IBEX BOB YAK bicycle trailer, Rokon has replaced your trailer design with a small single wheel model, larger wheel model you have has to be more effective in absorbing shock and spanning a series of small holes ruts than the current version.
@Rottmad13 жыл бұрын
great looking bike and trailer!!! how fast can you go on a paved road with that thing, and also; how does she handle at higher speeds??
@Rails6914 жыл бұрын
@Pucamann I get around 8 hours or so of running off of the 10L in the tank. So no extra fuel needed for that trip. I'm getting around to posting another video one of these days.

How does it work on uneven ground? Like going down to the bottom of a wash out and then up the other side?? I don't see how it pivots vertically??
@libertytrooper7 жыл бұрын
There has been a lot posted and said about the 'Flaws' of this single track trailer. Rokon has replaced it with one that pretty much doesn't really match the 'image' of a Rokon. What would you say are the limitations and perhaps 'flaws' from your own personal experience?
@mindofencryption5 жыл бұрын
Now that trailer looks pretty big, is that custom?

Question; is it squirrelly and tippy with the trailer? Never tried one behind two wheels before. It seems like it could make you swerve a bit.
