One problem that hasn't been discussed is how dark the screen is on the hdmi Roku streaming stick, and there is no menu item for adjust brightness. In this case you have to remove the Roku device from the television's hdmi port and using your television remote, select input and choose the hdmi port you're going to use for the Roku stick. Then, increase the backlight and brightness through your television's settings. Then plug the Roku streaming stick back into the hdmi port you just adjusted and it's all fixed. If it still isn't to your liking, repeat the process until you get the desired results.

Hello ~ Thank You for sharing the parental control information. Is there a way to set the "volume" (behind the scenes) so the person with the remote cannot raise the volume past 75% ? We have an elderly parent who sits in front of the TV all day - with the volume at 100% - and gets angry if we lower the volume. Yet - in normal daily conversation, she can hear just fine. As long as she sees 100 on the screen, she is fine. Do you have any thoughts?

I can’t change the brightness or the picture tape on my Roku stream bar which is only about a month old I have done everything you suggested but nothing is working is there something different about the stream bar that won’t allow me to change the brightness or choose a picture mode. Ooh what’s my personal favorite Roku channel? That’s hard, I definitely use KZbin the most, but I’d actually have to say that my favorite Roku channel is the Apple TV app, not only do I get to watch all my digital TV shows and movies on the big screen but I can even watch a lot of the cool content that is available on AppleTV+ like Ted Lasso and Wolfwalkers.

How about reducing the tv's resolution? I have a Onn Roku 4k 43" tv and it runs out my T-mobile "mifi" 100-gigs of data 1/2 way through the month..

My wife and I use our Rokus devices everyday. We have four of them spread out thru the house. My wife likes them for their simplicity of use. My biggest complaint is how Roku treats us Canadians as second class citizens. You keep us waiting for waiting for new channels and updates.

I have a question that I can't find the answer anywhere. Brand new 65" TCL roku tv, 50% of the time the sleep timer works like it should but the other 50% it turns the tv off but the sound stays on.

I've had an Element Roku 32 and 55 inch, that both have started to go to black screen, with the sound still live??! Anyone knows this issue, or have a hack that works? I've done every reset, including Factory Resets ... and they continue to go to black, regardless of app playing.

I do have a Roku. I have tried to get the Picture as large as the tv screen, with no luck. I have returned one back to place of purchase. I have watched (2) video on how to fix the problems. The picture should come from the factory fitting the screen . But no , now I have a 8 inch by 8 inch picture to watch when watching a video on TUBI. They (ROKU) is lying to the PEOPLE.
