Keep up the good work! Would be really nice if you showed Go:Keys use with a DAW.

Tony, it is me again 😊 I am quite interested in GO:Keys - mostly because of WC-1 and one year Roland Cloud membership. Do you think that it makes sense though if I already have CK61 and PSR-EW320? I am also concerned about the action of GO-Keys. I am only interested in playing organ and synth sounds on it (I like the action of CK61). I heard that the keys are quite heavy close to the fulcrum. Thank you

To be honest, unless there's something on the Roland Cloud you want REALLY badly, I'm not sure it would be worth bothering - most of the cost of the GO:Keys 3 is all the built in sounds, rhythms & accompaniment features including the chord sequencer, none of which it sounds like you would be interested in. The action is a bit unique and does feel heavier as you play further into the keys; and the action will feel very different from the CK61 or the PSR (the PSR probably feels like a lighter and less "heavy duty" action than your CK I assume?)

@@PianoToneI tried the action of PSR-E and it is quite similar to the action of CK61. Thank you again for your comprehensive response 😊

Are you planning a comparison between GO:Keys 3 and Yamaha PSR-E383, Tony? I am also wondering if you ever considered Roland Juno-D6. By the way, I currently use Roland ZENOLOGY Pro with my CK61 (in addition to Arturia V Collection X and Pigments). Michael

Price wise the GO3 is more in line with the PSR-E473, and the GO5 with the PSR-EW425. Except the connectivity of the 3 is in line with the E383. I think I might do a general comparison of the PSR line with the GO line to try and cover it all.

@@PianoTone I am concerned about the clicking noise of the keys, you have mentioned about in the other video. Also, it does not have MIDI IN and OUT (to connect a pedalboard) so it is lacking some important connectivity. CK61 is much better in this respect
@PianoTone2 күн бұрын
@@mfurman It's not a clicking noise per se it's a snap (when key bounces back up) if you do a glissando. Not really comparable to the CK, that's a whole different league/class of instrument. I miss my CK :)

Lots of keyboard for the money, regardless the model. A beginner would be more than satisfied with the 3. But I would of course get 5 for the connectivity and the extra cloud features, as I already have WC-1 and roland cloud.
