My personal JX-10P / MKS-70 sounds that I've been programming for year finally finalized... as promised ! Sadly enough, prices started skyrocket few years ago, after got mine... but this could be the case for any synth released 25 / 30 years ago, considering all the programming potential & sound signature these machines always had to be honest ! By the way, you should have the SysEx file by now ... Great week to you also with new musical projects ! ;-))

Is it me or is the Attack envelope slow / slower on the MKS70 compared with the JX8P? The JX8P also sounds warmer to my ears why would that be?

I haven't tried a JX-8p, but from what I've heard so far through videos, some sounds produced by the JX-8P effectively seems to be slightly different... than the JX-10P / MKS-70 I'm used to... I would bet on few differences between electronic components as well as a different os / architecture... keeping in mind that strangely enough... the Jx-8P is known to have better MIDI implementation than the MKS-70 & way better than the JX-10P... !!! I hardly hear a difference, and I’ve had a previously-owned JX-10 right next to a currently-owned JX-8p. I think the envelopes are identical.
