Miles Ackers It's still a horrible time for AA's. I fear the racism will never stop against them because they purposely still talk like slaves. I mean... Talking is everything in our world. If you cannot communicate well, people will tend to look down on you. Damn straight about Jimmy Carter. I am an atheist myself, and my rub with Carter is that he wore his faith on his sleeve, but that's not exactly something that hurts you politically in the US. At least he chose the love aspects of Christianity rather than the hate. I can't for the life of me understand why the Democratic Party continually distances itself from Carter rather than embrace him. Are they ashamed that he installed solar panels on the white house? That he encouraged people to try to consume less energy?

No, that pretty much just reinforces my previous thoughts that he chooses the nicer aspects of Christianity and rejects the ugly shit. Most of that ugly shit is both supported and opposed in the bible, depending on what verse you're reading. I know how hard it is to give up your faith, I struggled with it enough myself in my early teens, and I don't begrudge those who essentially do so without quite doing so. Well, not too much anyway.
