Roland TR-8S Tutorial - Reverb Time Shortcut

A great feature that has been overlooked. It's time we all know the TRUUUUUTH!!!! LOL!
Adjusting Reverb time should be easy. Now it is. Enjoy!

Tried to obtain those sliders but Roland UK don't have any!🙁 If anyone knows where I can get a set, pls let me know🙏🙏🙏. I know copies exist but I've heard they don't feel as good.

It would be good, if you could have master effects on different output channels. So you can mix you drums better. Maybe I'm missing something.

The assign outs are meant to send a dry signal to outboard gear for processing or fx.

Absolutely! Without any instrument selected. Hold a step and turn the reverb knob. Try this with the delay knobs, and master fx button and knob.

Yes! Hold shift and press KIT. Keep holding Shift and scroll the value knob until the top category line on the screen says Ext In. Let go of shift and scroll to reverb send. Delay send is the parameter right after. Press Enter on either of these and use value knob to adjust amount. Holding shift while adjusting amount will cause the value to change in bigger increments.

How do I live record. I want a blank pattern and the tr8s I bought is filled with patterns I don't want that seem to be in my way here. I can't find on the internet this first step to get me moving.

Patterns 8-03 and higher should be blank. If you want to blank out another pattern, select Patten Select mode and hold clear and press the pattern number on the steps of the sequencer. That should erase all sequencing. You will still need to select a kit to use. If you are having trouble getting going on the unit, I recommend taking the cloud academy classes. They are filled with a ton of info!

Can you get the reverb on one channel and it doesn't effect the other ones with this shortcut?

Not with this specific shortcut. To adjust the reverb send of each instrument, hold the instruments button (bd-rc) and turn the reverb level knob.
