@Nickhead87 1. I am a doctor who has seen hundreds of cervical neck injuries at a level one trauma center. 2. I read Charles Krauthammer's book. He tragically broke his neck and became paralyzed in medical school but graduated reading medical textbooks on his back. I am not an random Internet nervous Nellie.

I can guarantee if you did that here in PNW your muscles would’ve locked up in colder waters here. Maybe would have been so cold that you’d walk on water to get back in🥶😁 Good lesson on how to carefully climb back into canoe though👍🏻😜 You’re a great person Roland. I just missed you when you stopped by our booth at Sportsman’s Show a couple years ago. My coworkers said you visited for about 20 minutes and you were very congenial. Wish I could’ve met ya. Stay healthy man!👍🏻

Awesome deal Mr. Martin. I think a bit lower is what many will say but when you have a second person in there like your camera man they are in the perfect spot. And then will keep the boat from capsizing from the weight transfer if one person goes in. Always enjoy watching your videos.

I been salvaging boat bumpers and keep one or two tied to the bow on my old town canoe. I got the canoe on Facebook marketplace for $450. I'm in Pittsburgh and canoe the three rivers.

I am 48 and I couldn’t sit cross legged like that. And if I did I would need help to get up. I am impressed by Roland. I really enjoy these videos. I hope to one day actually find a Bass Tracker Classic XL and buy it and go fishing soon.

You are really agile..I’m 58 in pretty good shape, and haven’t practiced getting back into my Sit-on Top kayak yet, much less a boat with sides! I am going to this weekend. isn't that canoe rated to carry 1400 lbs? Don't think your close to being overweight But you never would of got back in without the added stabilty and it really looks cool. You are definitly the healthiest 80 year old I can remember in forever. Your great and I hope you keep on and keep teaching
