@@elonmust7470 when did I say that being active and eating well isn't a part of it ? What a simplistic viewpoint though. Plenty of people are active ( or try) and eat well, and don't have the clarity of thought, the lucidity; and look how limber the guy is. Full head of hair; he jumps up onto his boat, he squats down with no problem to land a fish, etc....genetics are without a doubt the huge part, not the fact that he eats his spinach.

👍 Like shark fishing with hot rocks. Islanders heat up cobble stones, chum the water to gather the sharks into a frenzy and then toss in the hot rocks and the sharks swallow the rocks and it kills them then they just snag the sharks and drag'em in.

A buddy of mine once caught a 6 lb bass on cut shad while we were catfishing. I also know a guy who caught a 5 pounder on chicken liver. Bass definitely can smell. Love all the videos Roland. 👍

It's a blessing to have you as an asset to our sport. You continue to teach us techniques that are simple & really brings us together through genuine fun. I caught my 2nd biggest bass which was over 6lbs on a bobber with nightcrawlers. Nothing fancy, just bank fishing like alot of us but having a great time!!!

My daughter caught a bass on chicken liver. I asked a more knowledgeable angler then myself if he had ever heard of such a thing. He responded with she most have brought the bait thru a school of bass when she was checking her bait. He then said that if a school gets fired up you can catch them on a hook with just a piece of your shirt tail. I don’t know how much of the shirt tail deal will work, but do know when they’re fired up they’ll hit pretty much anything.

Saw a couple of fellas catch a few decent bass at Farm 13 while using finger mullet chunks for catfish. An elderly gentleman in my neighborhood told me, for food, they would use cut.bait at Florida river’s flood locks and would catch everything that swims.
