Roland, I graduated from a "good" law school in 1995. The underpinnings of law include both written rules, often based on precedent, and many unwritten rules. I'll list two, (1) Courts/juries don't like to convict "pretty white boys," (2) Courts/juries don't like to convict wealthy white men. Let's add to these rules (3) judges are reluctant to sentence either. It makes you wonder why did they waste time trying Trump.
