I went to my AD and told them I was interested in this model. I had a previous relationship with them so they were able to get me the watch pretty quick.

I bought this exact watch September and it arrived October. no history, the dealer didn't have a wait for his next 2tone black. I paid in full September 18th right before the new model came out. the 2 tone is not as hard to get.

Also the first time winding should be 20 plus rounds on a Rolex to fully bend the spring. Otherwise you risk not getting the full 72h power reserve

Yes, the two-tone Sub is a little heavy (especially given it's small size). It's 172g with one link removed. For reference, the Sea-Dweller is 188g with one link removed (but it is a much larger watch).

I paid retail. I put my name on the list. It wasn't much of a long wait. I think the two-tone models are easier to get (compared to some of the full steel models).

Yooooo, this hurts - friendly advice... don’t set your date if the hour hands are between 9pm and 3am... it may damage the internal components. Always move the time to to 4 or 6 to ensure the date mechanism is not engaged.
