All art is subjective. ALL ART IS SUBJECTIVE. So if watches are now art - the value or materials mean nothing. A simple water color could sell for hundreds of thousands. A painting done on the most expensive canvas made, using the most expensive brushes, with the costilest paint could be shit and sell for 25 dollars.
