agreed ! i think the datejust is the flagship of Rolex ( my opinion ) I have one , also a Daytona, and frankly people will recognize the datejust as a Rolex more than the daytona unless you re a watch enthusiast .. the 36 MM is perfect

And it confirmed my suspicion that my even nastier watch was not just a vintage, but a very nasty fake, even to the point where on the back it says gold plated, and the gold is wearing off, lol. I have two of their bottom feeder watches. The second hand doesn’t line up well with the dots.

Beat error of 0.6 is kinda high IMO. But 0s/d is good. But the best check for accuracy on wrist. Temperature and position has a biger impact on movement that are not adjusted in multiple positions. Adjusted not just regulated.

bear in mind even so called low grade fakes are using the same materials as genuine including Ceramic on bezel and crystal face. Its all down to quality control . The super clones are very close nowadays. If you get a good swiss movement in your clone the real one isnt worth the difference you are paying for the name. Dont get me wrong I have a 16710 and 1680 and quality is amazing but clones will last many years and for some on low buget they are a good option

I have just compared my £460 batman Super Grade Replica from the clean factory against these two and mine is identical to the genuine one, second hand moves exactly like genuine one, even the colours are identical ,and the weight is the same as the genuine.

They are pretty clear on their website that USA assembly means assembly of parts made overseas. They list the origin of their movements. They also make you select which straps you want with the watch when you add it to the cart.

Thing is the dial itself looks ok but in combination with the oversized rainbow steampunk baroque case and bracelet turns it into an absolute joke. But still... it made us look.

Wonder why Rolex didn’t go with the ‘camo surface’ on top of the new clasp. Could be best of both worlds.
