Eric, thickness of the watches is different. Just got a Bluesy in addition to my GMT black. And I noticed that there difference in how the sub wears. This 1 mm difference is noticeable for me. GMT is more comfortable to wear as it's flatter. Thanks. Like your content!

It’s actually kind of a hard choice. Batman can be a suit watch or with jeans. Where the hulk is kind of just a chill watch but when worn with a chill outfit like jeans and t shirt, it gives the fit a cool pop. Btw, keep up the great content. Your shoots are fire Eric

Great video Eric. So hard to choose between the two. If you choose The Batman GMT it is more versatile in what you can wear it with whereas the Hulk, as you said because of the green dial, is much more a sportier looking watch. So it really depends on your lifestyle. If you aren't the office type, and are more of a casual dresser, Hulk can work. If you are more business causal or sporty, the Batman is more versatile. Also the Oyster bracelet with polished Centre links also makes it look a bit more fancy. However, if you own a traditional black dial Sub, such as myself, you can get away with wearing it at the office as black goes with everything. But I'd love to own a GMT in the future. The thing is, if you had to pick one watch as your only daily beater, you can't go wrong with either because they will last forever.

I have to give the edge to the hulk just for the fact that when the sun hits that green dial in just the right way, there’s not much that can top that sight. A month back I traded my Batman in part for an AP Offshore Diver. No regrets. Update May / 2022 - I’m buying back my batman lol

Hi Eric. You are so right about the Hulk. For years I walked by display cases and said what an ugly watch. Then one day I was in Miami in the Design District at the Rolex store and a female employee was wearing a Hulk on her wrist. I said to her can I take a look at that watch on your wrist? She showed it to me and I fell in love with it. A month later I owned one! And I love it. I sold my AP, never wore it. I sold my Sea Dweller. Never wore it. I wear my Hulk all the time and I love it.

Whichever of the two is on my wrist would be my favorite. I think the green sunburst dial is "edgier" and it's hard to take your eyes off it at different angles in the sun. Definitely more casual IMO. The blue black GMT can handle both casual and office wear. Can't go wrong with either watch. Another great video Eric !

Hi Eric, I really enjoy your videos, keep up the great work. I do have a BLNR and prefer the black and blue bezel over the green. My dilemma is the PCL on the BLNR. I have contemplated many times to have them brushed but have not been able to pull the trigger. What's your thoughts on brushing the PCL? Do you think this is wrong? Both are in my collection and you hit the nail on the head with the versatility comment on Batman versus striking color of Hulk. Because of versatility, I’d own the Batman if it was my only watch but I love the hulk as part of a larger collection. It gets a lot of wrist time during the day throughout the warm weather months whereas I switch to either ss or oysterflex Daytona, a GMT (pepsi or Batman) or James Cameron at night or in the winter. If I didn’t have that rotation and had one watch, I think it would be a Batman or a black Sub.

I was between the black date sub or the batman. I wanted to like the batman but it's just too busy for me. The black sub is very 'typical' but that is for a good reason, it's a gorgeous watch. I don't get when people don't get a watch because too many people have it. If you want a rare piece don't buy a mass produced wrist watch!

Around 3 years ago I can still get a hulk for retail price, but I didn't, I got the big pilot instead, after 3 years I wouldn't say I'm regretted for getting the IWC, i love the BP, but I do regretted for not getting the hulk for retail price, cause the price went up almost double now.

I bought my Hulk back in 2015 and my AD thought I was crazy. He wanted me to get the Batman but I love the green dial. To me it represented the color of the brand and a lot positive elements in life. So, for that reason I knew it would never go out of style. Now he ask me how did I know! I really didn’t know, I just bought what I felt I can really enjoy for a long period of time.
