So good to see a film from you again, beautiful images capturing so much of why I love being out in these forests. And the new format: I love it! Looking forward to the next 7999 episodes ;-). Your film made me think: Kokekaffe (as we say in norway) is almost like a japanese tea ritual. It requires a fire, the water from a healthy river or lake, and it must be enjoyed in that environment accompanied by mosquitos and the awareness of all the brilliant small things that are happening around you at all times.

The only thing more enjoyable than seeing and hearing Rolf catch a wily brown trout, is when I do the same on other side of globe. Amazing talent young Rolf, thanks for beautiful film, stories, coffee, and connecting all to the trout.

Watched almost every video you’ve posted. The way you and your friends fellowship together and fish is a beautiful thing to see. Sadly I don t have have those kind of friends that would want to go fish with me let alone flyfish. Regardless of all that watching your short films and diary videos always inspires me to go fish more specifically for trout as well. Had a moment when I was out in a calm spring creek and started noticing there was a trout top feeding yards way from me. Started to walk towards it calm and collective. Finally when I approached its feeding lane I was ready to begin my first cast. The first cast nothing. Second cast within three seconds on landing caught a 10in brown. Brought a few tears in my eyes the whole process of going about catching trout and seeing it take your fly brings so much joy and happiness. I was telling myself “I bet this how those dudes from Norway feel when they catch a spooky trout” I dedicated that catch to your channel. Thank you for such beautiful films and videos you post. Even of yourself talking to the camera is ok I enjoyed it.

I admire the way you seek beauty in your fly fishing, as when you were not happy with the first trout taking your dragging fly. Everything must be perfect, I am as well enchanted by the dry fly. Please keep your diary on!!

@@RolfNylinderMagical memories made Rolf. Beautiful video. By the way, just as a note, in English there is no such word as "trouts". It is either one trout or a hundred trout. No "s". The same for most fish species. So it is one Salmon or two Salmon; never "salmons".

I discovered your KZbin channel by accident, I guess the algorithm decided you are the perfect match because I like Swedish hiking videos and fishing channels. I watched literally everything on your channel for the last 2 weeks and I am not even a fly fisherman. You did motivate me to buy a flyfishing rod and try to see if I am worthy of becoming an elite dry fly fishermen. Either way I just wanted to see that the quality of your channel is far beyond KZbin, it is beautifully artistic, tells good stories and the music makes me really want to move back to Scandinavia. The recent shots that you are adding of wild birds really add that extra nature vibe. Can't wait to watch your upcoming videos!

Great stuff as always Rolf. 👍 I have been following your work all the way since you and your friends created films for Fiskejournalen, fishing trout in Säveån for a few weeks during the summer break. You guys must have been in your teens back then but you have consistently kept your signature in your work (as I see it) - curiosity, passion for fishing and nature, reflection on life, always with a touch of humour added to the mix. Only the River Knows was epic, I consider it one of the best fly fishing films ever made, but I enjoy these small scale films just as much. Personal, relatable and on point. So thanks for all the great productions so far and keep up the good work! 🙏👍

Cinematic videos 🥰 Just love the look of your b rolls … I have two questions … 1) what camera are you using and which lens, cause I saw another video with the Swedish hillibilly local redneck in that video your caught some amazing fishes feeding at the surface. 2) where are the rivers and small lakes you’re fishing, since I’m from Germany and every now and then around Sweden, I would love to join those types of waters. Just fell in love with fly fishing. Don’t need the exact places, but maybe a certain direction where to go. Thanks a lot, keep on the nice content 🙏🏼
