Everytime there's a new tutorial or introduction video Ruben Dax seems more and more proud of what He's about to show and for a good reason! I've been playing with Studio player today and let me tell You - it is simple yet so amazing!!! Roli is takin small steps at a time but they are all in a good direction!!!

Probably gonna buy a Seaboard soon 'cause I said so to take full potential of this piece of software as well as Equator2. But even with a normal MIDI Keyboard, this VST is just too damn good for the price. I started music production actually a few weeks ago and this is one of my favourite plugins, especially for the price (right now, with the sale going on it's just 50$ or so). For chords and scales I prefer an app from an unnamed plugin vendor but this, paired with your superb arpeggiator, is literally a warehouse of inspiration and new ideas. Oh yeah and also the drum app is pretty cool. I much prefer using it over the stock Ableton drum sounds, you get some neat customizability and everything just feels nice. Keep up the great work you magicians at ROLI :)

I just upgraded to the fantastic Equator 2 (which I use with a Seaboard Rise). How can I access presets from my full versions of Equator 2, Strobe 2 and Cypher2 from Roli Studio and Drums? Please tell me it's possible! Also, what's the most compatible lightblock to use with the Seaboard Rise?

Dear Roli, you should fix Roli Connect.... I just hate that everytime you click a icon in a system tray you need to wait 2-5 seconds, literally EVERY TIME. If it try to connect to the internet and get some info about apps on my account, you can authorize it once at the first load *and keep it.* If I want to exit one app, or reopen another app, every time it is few seconds delay.....

Guys does this work under Windows7 ? I have a seabord block, which works fine with Equator player, but cannot make Roli Connect work....it appears as a black rectangle on the right bottom of my display, but that's it.

Are you recording straight through the roli studio player? Or through the other software? Does the studio player have a record function?

Hi - to record in ROLI Studio Player you'll need to use it as a plug-in within your DAW. In this case Ruben is recording through Bitwig Studio.

Hey ROLI Tean, could I have some help? The mobile app NOISE won't download any new packs I've purchased. I would love to buy the sound library "Warped Electronics" but every time I try to download it, it takes me to a page reading "oh no", and the download never occurs. Any suggestions?

I agree, in my songmaker kit the seaboard block is *far* more sensitive than the lightpad block M, so switching between the two is awkward. I feel like I have to hit the lightpad so hard to make it register than I can't do any of the subtle pressure that I can with the seaboard.

Dude I have Magix and I love it but it’s a real bitch. I’ve unfortunately been looking into other software. I told them they’re acting like Apple where every time a update comes out, if you don’t buy it, the current on starts bugging out. They referred me to the community forum for help rather than just giving me the help themselves and that’s probably cause either what I said was true, or they don’t know shit about their software.

Wonderful hardware/software combo, sadly it is not really function for performance, as you cannot save the macros you create (arp, effects, chords). You cannot create 5 or 10 presets that you call up as a playlist.

You should be able to save entire plugin states in a DAW - that's a workaround at least

Use your midi keyboard. Gestures may not be supported light they are with the light modules.
