Good video, good breakdown, good attitude. Musicians like you who make these videos are always so cheerful and positive. It makes me enjoy this industry so much more. Two years later, I hope you're still making music and doing well. Good video, good breakdown, good attitude. Musicians like you who make these videos are always so cheerful and positive. Thanks so much for this video and all the work that you put into it!!! I got the Roll songmaker kit GarageBand ed. about a month ago after waiting for it for 6+ months, production delay because of covid ( I was told), I haven't really been able to get it to work. Why? Well I have a new iPad and the noise app is glitching to where it blackens the screen ( garage band app kinda works but isn't as user friendly and Roli seems to need to connect usb to work properly ( saw on another guys YT video who had same probs as me)which I don't have usb on ipad) and I found out somewhere online this has to do with the recent iOS update and roli may or may not get to that anytime soon so I turned my efforts towards my Dell Windows 10 laptop and after installing all the software it can't find the Roli hardware driver anywhere ( not can I or tech support). So that's been very discouraging and now I'm going to buy a MacBook pro to hope it works. After seeing your video at least I don't have to spend weeks or months learning it bc now I now know how to use it and it only took like 10 minutes thanks to you and that's amazing! I just thank you for that because I've spent, I don't know 10 hours+ at this point just trying to get it to work. I know there are a lot of other options out there and maybe I'm a little insane to try and stick it out especially when Roli may not be able to keep up with future software probs etc but I'm a complete newbie at this and it really looks like, especially from watching your video, that people that aren't completely tech savvy can just use the blocks to create music instead of having to interact with the screen, also it takes up a very small amount of space, sounds great and I like that it's soft.... I find that very therapeutic. I really think Roli should give you a free Songmaker kit if they haven't already and maybe hire you to teach people because this is by far the best demo out there! They need to know and acknowledge that. Blessings

kkrex ordered it, but just couldn’t find much info on how exactly it runs on iphone/ipad and if it runs on batteries and uses bluetooth - sort of assumed when I saw it running without a cable and on an iphone - should have a more detailed demo on it.. i hope it will run ok
