I use a retractable dog leash to pull the strap toward the cab to hold it out of the way. Works well on open and close.

This is a great Idea, can I ask where you have the dog leash mounted at so that the plastic housing stays in one spot?

@@ItsMerkules Mine is pinched between the canister and the passenger side of the truck bed. There is enough tension that it hasn't moved. I originally was going to tie it to one of the tie down points in the corner of my truck bed, but this has been working so far

How would you do a patio awning cover on your rv? Long reach pole or mop, from above, or?

From roof with long reach brush that we use to clean roof. Hate to admit it, but we haven’t cleaned or protected the awning 😬

@@DownsizingMakesCents i bought a bottle and wasn't that impressed. I mean it did an okay job but nothing short of spectacular. I am sure other brands would have been comparable.
