I always enjoy watching your videos I have been hydro dipping since 2015 and also use almost exclusively one hit wonder. Another reason to double dip is sometimes the pattern will only look right example is skulls on one side of a gas tank going one way and upside down on the other unless you double dip. Keep up the great videos

I’ve came to the same conclusion you have. I’m not very good at roll dipping and I’m tired of fixing screw ups. Thanks to finally listening to you and trying it I double dip about everything and spend way less time fixing stuff. Thank you for piling out the steep angle to stop the checkering blow outs. I’ve got a couple rifle stocks to do tomorrow. Keep these videos coming I know I’ve learned a lot

I reconfirmed what you said today. Tried to roll a forearm off a Beretta shotgun. The checkering looks awful. So I tried another one of your tips denatured alcohol after it dried and that worked. Repainted it tonight and will ghost seam it tomorrow. Purple tape here we come

Great vid! Curious, what color OHW paint do you base coat Multicam black with?

I mix up my own color match for Multicam black. When you order the film from TWN you can request a color chip sample, then I mix the paint myself to get the color I need.

After dipping one side, how soon can you apply blue tape over the patterned side to prep for the second side dip? Should it be sealed?

Just got my 1st set of supplies, I preped my ps4 controller torched it just in case, scuffed it, painted it with white paint, cut the film placed it in appx 80 degree water for 1 minute sprayed it with the activator waited about 10 seconds and dipped the piece. It came out good and rises it until the slimy feeling went away, as I was running it I saw some dots all over the piece as if the film came off what did I do wrong? Too much activator? Didn't let the paint dry long enough. I am using the supplies you recommended one shoot stuff. Thanks.

Hello im making a zombie gun so im looking at making it zombie green but im also looking at two different hydro dipping film i love the lightning film but then muddy girl have the green toxic camo so I was wondering if I could maybe dip the gun in camo and dip it with the lightning bolts over it not sure if it would look cool or like shit or if it would just ruin the gun altogether I only ask because you talk a lot about double dipping once for each side which makes perfect sense but then I thought well you know some film is see threw so could I do film over film on the same side to blend different cameos what do you think

The lightning patterns are mostly black so it is going to cover up most of the part. If you wanted to do a double pattern something like skulls first then muddy girl over the top would probably work oaky.
