When using Xiangfei against Kasumi in air to air ...SPAM Xiangfei's jump back or jump forward C and preferably as early as possible . Jump A is very high priority too although it does less damage but wins in most air to air battles. So spam her jump C or jump A against most of the cast...dont forget that jump CD is good for air to air too...but has to be done early in order to be effective. So basically your best bet for air to air against Kasumi ( or most of the cast in general) are both her jump C and jump A . Spam down C ( with good timing ) as an anti air.

Justin..whenever you combo with Whip...please omit out close Standing A as that move whiffs over most crouching characters ( you can use it on very fat characters like Chang , Maxima) So basically here are the gist of Whip's bread and butter combos MUST USE . Step 1 When very close to opponent do Near Stand B twice ( max up to 3 times but not recommended) , do down B into her Hcf + A or her super qcb hcf + punch. 2) when you manage to successfully land a clean crossup or not with jump C , follow up with the combos as stated in Step 1. You will be using this combo a lot often as she is not a combo character. I mean she has damaging BC combos at the corner but it is not practical for using it in a high level match . If you can do it all the better for you...but the miscue rate is very high. The bread and butters are the ones you will be using it a lot more often during in game play. You can do jump in combos with her jump D too aside from her jump C ( cross up or not) but you gotta be near and deep in order to connect with your close Standing B and follow up with combo of your choice. Please get these basic combos right and put it in to muscle memory so it will come naturally for you. All the best bro...

02(UM) is actually so fast paced a big part of the nooch is just jockeying for position from the midrange to start your attack setup safely. The rest of the time you wanna be staying way out of their attack range (or make it hard for them to enter your space by sticking out lights /vertical jump attacks that extends your hitbox into the areas you THINK they are trying to move to). Unless you're baiting a DP you don't actually want to be reacting to their normal movement with an appropriate punish.

@@maximuscesar Depends, in my experience 13 is way more popular with people who don't really play KoF or haven't played the others. Most KoF players I know still prefer 98 or 2002 over it. Also, KoF doesn't really sell well enough to justify that kind of costly work, XIII almost killed SNK all over again because of how costly it was and how bad it sold.

I'm pretty sure I remember a guy named Emil back when fightcade was called 2df, I think he had the reputation of being the best and that was like 15 years ago, he probably played for many years before that. My guy is probably 60 years old at this point, I don't know how he hasn't developed arthritis. Tips for Justin Wong to improve his Xiangfei game. After you do that rebound super thingy ...do an uppercut AB ( YES press those 2 buttons at the same time for extra damage) or either uppercut AD for the heavy version too. By pressing and combining those buttons ...you will deal extra damage for both the B and D versions of the uppercut. After Xiangfei's command grab ( near opponent hcb forward + A or C ) , press AC buttons together to switch sides with your opponent and continue the combo. It is a shortcut instead of doing the ACTUAL COMMAND. please take note of that...tell me what you think Justin.

@@kaceejones2282 Your reply is confusing to begin with. Kof 02's ost is all made of recycled music from the classics, and almost all choices were great. But the actual renditions and the audio quality was very poor because of particular hardware issues. Saying the music isnt good might either mean the actual compositions or just things like the audio quality. Now, if you indeed meant the former case, well... that's a really really unpopular opinion. Im a long time fan from south America (where the og arcade culture was stronger for Snk than Capcom) and i honestly never saw anyone who doesnt value those songs. But about Kof 02's own (poor) versions, that's another story, everybody is aware the versions are low quality.

want to point out the bad advice in Jwong's chat that "you can turn the input delay down to 3 or 2" in KOF2k2UM. You don't choose the input delay in kof2k2. You choose the *maximum* input delay. The game will calculate an appropriate delay for you once you get in a match. This is why people recommend you leave it around 9.
