Is climbing rope leading edge rated? I honestly do not know. If not, when your fall arrest / ascension system can come into contact with an edge such as the ridge of a roof (from my training as a competent person for FP) you should be using leading edge rated gear such as wire rope. I may be wrong as I only know FP (fall protection) from a CFR 1910/1926 standpoint.

Climbing rope is not LE rated so always need to protect your rope over any edges or other areas it could be damaged.

So you dont use the croll when using this? Can you make a better video explaining this?

This is alternative technique to using a Chest ascender (Croll) and hand ascender. Normally going up a steep slope you would use ascenders but can also be done this way. Lots of options when you understand how all the gear works.
