Roller Skating for Beginners: How To Roll Off A Curb with Kiana

Hey skaters! Kiana here! Learn to roll off curbs with me today! :o)
No jumping necessary- just ROLLING!
What you'll need is
1. A curb
2. Your skates and safety gear
3. Confidence! You can do it!!
The steps are
1. step off with no speed
2. step off with a little bit of a roll start
3. put it together with faster speed and BAM! You're rolling off the curb!
If you want to get fancy with it add some tricks!
My skate setup:

I literally just came home from the emergency room from falling from rolling off a curb. So as I was getting ready to go outside I watched this video it was so motivated and started practicing going up and down the curve was doing great even went down a cheese grater. I was getting comfortable listening to other KZbin channels I fell and sprained my ankle and now is home laying down with the elevated leg with a cute little boot. See y’all in a few weeks

Curbs where I live are not like this nice squared curb. They are more rounded with a big crack before and below. If I find a curb like this I will try. Thanks

I feel weird because the curbs in my neighborhood are actually curved. I worry about hitting my toe stop on the dip. I can try it at slow speeds, but it still worries me 😅
