Rollerblading / inline skating has been a part of my life since I was 8-years old...I'm, now, 41. The countless videos I've viewed; the music I've heard; the skaters I've admired... This is literally the FIRST time, in over 30-years, that I've experienced a rollerblading video that was (not only) pleasant to watch...but, also, relaxing...blissful even...to listen to. The combined effect is this 3m:28s video that is tranquil yet energizing; soothing yet uplifting; and peaceful yet motivational. Brilliant effort by both lads 👌
@russelljackson28182 жыл бұрын
As impressive as the park sequence was, it was the street scenes that really got to me... reminded me of when I first picked up rollerblading around age 14, back in 00-01... I couldn't drive, didn't know any other bladers and there weren't skateparks anywhere near me, so I just skated around my neighborhood. Using gutters and steep driveways as ramps, jumping over curb strips, riding on retaining walls at the edges of people's lawns. Just had to figure out how to work within my limitations. None of it looked terribly impressive, I'm sure, but it was all about the pure joy of just riding on skates without trying to impress anyone else with specific tricks, or style, or being down on myself for not being as good as whoever. Some of the happiest days in my whole life.

This. I'm a 53yr old London skater, and whilst I can do 50 miles in a day, I can't jump, grind or even go backwards. Watching this video made we want to visit LA, but how the heck you guys turn my 2D skating world into a 3D sky still amazes me!
