A nice video, but it feels like it goes too quickly over complex parts. The speed is good for a review, but hard to follow for a tutorial.

One rule that has me still confused is the Banish rule. It says all cards are returned including the Banished card when the players either Win or Lose. But I've also read people saying they go back when the game is over. So my question is. Do Banished cards go back to the box just like discarded cards do every single time you die? That would mean you have to find hidden routes like being able to go south from the first card all over again, which in my kind doesn't quite make sense.

Banish stays out of play until you die or win. You need to pack the game up ("save") multiple times before you die or win. So, a session of the game can be over, i.e. packed up for the day, but that card is still banished as long as you're on the same play/life/campaign.

Your memory doesn't go away. In fact it's really the only way to win later curses. Banished cards come back, mechanically, when you start a new campaign for balance reasons. If your old character broke an item, banishing it, but your new character needs that item to win a different curse, you'd have a broken game state by not releasing banished cards between campaigns.

talking way too fast, sounds like he's reading a comic book. next...not a good teaching video for playing this great game.
