I had 246,000 miles on a 2008 TSX and I ended up selling it. The engine didn’t burn oil, the transmission shifted fine and the radiator was original. The only thing was the that i changed the AC compressor 4 times, changed the PS pump 3 times, suspension mounts were worn, the wheel bearings were about to go out, and the paint was faded. The faded paint came as a result of my sister in law who borrowed it for 2 years, parked it outside and never had it waxed! 😔

So I am worried the transmission will start slipping if I do the transmission flush.
@user-ek5nl1jc4b Жыл бұрын
Don't do a flush, just get about 4 quarts of HONDA oem fluid. It takes about 3.5 quarts to do a drain and fill. Drive it for a little while and do another drain and fill. That way you are gradually adding new fluid to the system.

If the engine and transmission is good why get rid of it unless it's becoming a money pit? Toyota engines can last well over 400, 000 miles if properly maintained. It really depends on how much you value the car..

I own a acura tsx 2011 with 220k on it. The transmission has been changed twice. Don’t recommend these cars but to each their own🫣😩
