Love that double spiral ball lifter! The circular flower zigzagger around the center column is a nice touch as well. The whole piece is a perfect blend of creativity and precision!

Yet another great sculpture David! Really loved the shot with the full run at the end!

Thanks! If you look in the description, I've uploaded a full sequence shot. This was suggested by someone a few weeks back and I loved the idea so much, I'm including one for every sculpture from now on.

The G, B and H look cool. Did I miss any other letter? Certainly not Grievous Bodily Harm! The exact opposite I'd say 😁 (BTW, that curved serpentine section is really nice 👏👏)

A sneaky "L" - bottom right hand side. Delivered it in person to the client, just around the corner.

Love your work & have been learning how to solder some tracks & building inside a found drawer (just a convenient frame to work with), any thoughts on different balls to use - golf, racquetball have come to mind besides glass or steel (though they have more bounce and less density).

Find whatever you can and run with it. Source what you can locally. I've seen everything from 7mm steel balls, to bowling balls!

David Morrell- ha, I know I used to keep an old bowling ball for a reason :-) as someone who, besides being a sort of craftsman, is involved in the miniaturization of medical devices, the idea of using something as small as a BB crossed my mind (using something like guitar strings as courses), but baby steps for now :-)

@@jonathannagel7427 I often thought pasta would make for some cool tracks. Heat and then cool once formed. The possibilities are endless.

David Morrell - as also a former cook, that raises some ideas: this is gonna require a lot of meatballs :-) Edit: the names makes themselves: The rotini raiser, linguini long track, spaghetti spinner, farfalle far fall, angel hair pin turn, ziti compleeti...

Отличная работа! Сколько стоила эта скульптура для заказчика? Надеюсь когда нибудь найти время и построить такую скульптуру у себя дома.
