Of course there is no evidence. It’s a way the “creatives” want to distract us from the real problems of The Acolyte: sacrificing good stories, good writing, good acting and good direction to concentrate on social agendas. Therefore, we must be racist, misogynist, homophobic and incels. Easier to label the fan base than to address the real issues.

Come on the show wasn't terrible. Yes it had some terrible moments but it did have some very good ones and it's ratings were actually pretty good just no where near enough to justify $180 million which I'm baffled to see where it went. I mean, $180 million gets you dragons, massive battle scenes, massive sets, on location filming with lots of extras. It gets you Game of Thrones! I think the execs are trying to work out where the hell $180 million went.

thats the exact game plan. whats crazy is they think keep doing it and thinking it will work and it never does. end of the day the only thing that matters is profit and viewers and you can lambast your fanbase as being "racist" all day long its not going to matter if they dont watch. Idk if their head is actually in the sand or if their agenda is so important to them that they dont care how much money they lose. Either way the agenda isnt working so idk why they keep bothering. If they put as much effort into making a good story and show as they do hating their own fanbase nobody would actually care how diverse the casting is, and theres plenty of examples of this and some are even pointed out in this video. Like mandalorian and ashoka, while not great but watchable and by all metrics were successful until the story went to shit, which had nothing to do with the diversity of the casting.

Can't imagine why it's criticised. They did everything right. They threw $180m at someone woefully under-qualified, as creator, director, producer, writer, who immediately hired all her friends & a cast who didn't audition. All the source material was ignored & the whole story is just a lesbian fantasy from the writer. Everyone must be racist though.

It isn't surprising, though. People of a certain mentality always think their beliefs are pure and holy, and if they were in charge of everybody then the world would be perfect. Hollywood is pushing globalist policy. The people who run Hollywood aren't stupid. They're ruthless, amoral capitalists who cooperate constantly with entities like the CIA and Pentagon. They know they're tanking their profits but they are being ordered to by the people who own and control the studios, who are taking orders from globalist central. To install globalism, they have to destroy national cohesion, and one way to do that is through constant propaganda and censorship that attacks the majority and its narratives and biases.

I remember decades ago, when "High Road to China" came out, the critics hated it! One prominent critic even begged people to quit going to watch it in the theaters! The local television news anchors looked at each other and said it was a wonderful movie and urged people to see it! I have long been of the opinion that the more Hollywood Movie Critics like a movie, the worse it is! There are exceptions, usually when part of a sequel to a huge hit, but over all Hollywood critics are just paid propagandist! That is why I like Critical Drinker, and a couple of other online critics! They tell it as they see it, not as some "High Culture" work of art!

When Michael Keaton was cast as Batman the screaming from some fans was deafening. I read an article in the late 80s calling people who like Trek TNG not true fans. A lot of people online absolutely hated Avatar. I could go on. They had zero influence on those things being hits because the mass audience supported them. Someone like Critical Drinker is not powerful enough on his own to convince enough people to avoid Acoylte or The Marvels or go see Deadpool for them to be made flops or hits. It's not the Drinker's job to worry about what Hollywood thinks about him, it's Hollywood's job to worry about what he (and the millions of people who agree with him) think about them and their 'offerings'. Which turn out to be not so much offerings as force feedings we're required to eat, smile, nod, and claim to like. Can't for the life of me figure out what might be wrong with that business model. And Rolling Stone started out of as a San Francisco counter-culture, underground newspaper that gave the insider view on the rock scene of the early 70s. It was as if the Grateful Dead had their own magazine, lol and for decades they were considered a magazine for hippies and stoners. Now they're just another establishment propaganda rag, who showed their true colors when they drove out journalist Matt Taibbi, who worked there for something like 15 years before he got the boot for one too many questions concerning establishment orthodoxies. Eff them. Now Drinker and his kindred spirits are all we have that pass for counter culture (also known as the right to disagree), and we all better rally to protect them, while we still cling tenuously to the right to say 'no, thank you'.

Its like the old saying goes "Money talks, bullshit walks", anyone trying to pretend otherwise when it comes to projects like this is just completely ignorant to how business works. The problem is that these companies recently have tried to place themselves on some moral high ground, placating to America in particular that has found itself entangled in a never-ending white knight for social issues campaign, in an attempt to be the ones who claim to be "the most diverse and the most inclusive". They continue trying to do their best with their bullshit to appeal to an extreme minority of their actual fanbase and in actuality appealing to absolutely no one. Because when it comes to push and shove, when it takes some real balls to actually stand with that moral integrity, they will always crumble to the all mighty dollar. Remind me, was it the fans or Disney themselves that removed Finn from the posters in China? There's zero reason to defend or protect these companies just because they spew all the right hot topic words, they only care about a profit. They will sever all ties the second that project doesn't do so, whether it is good or bad means nothing.

Hollywood and Disney are still coping from the Acolyte being cancelled BY THEM! 😂 They cancelled the Acolyte and they blame the fandom because they didn't like it?! 🤣 Maybe if they made a good story instead of pushing activism it wouldn't be so hated! 🤣🤣🤣

That's the thing, they are acting like the Critical Drinker is the one who cancelled the show. He's a guy who makes KZbin videos. The people that cancelled the show are the ones saying it was cancelled due to racism, which seems like telling on yourself.

It didn't mind the Acolyte. It was ok, but the only good thing that came out of it was the lightsaber choreography. Overall, it wasnt a success. What is a successful strategy to get people to universally hate your series is by claiming your audience is racist. We're not against women or someone of a different skin color is the lead actor, but what we are against is bad acting & writing, poor plot/story arc, and lackluster character development. For years Disney's Achilles heel with Star Wars is that it sacrifices good story telling for a political agenda. The Acolyte overall was just that, and it was bad product. 🤷🏻‍♂️

There’s no sex appeal in films anymore. How the hell did the people in charge of films today forget something so obvious? I’m a straight woman and there are never any strong, sexy men anymore. Most stories aren’t that good that they can compensate for lack of sex appeal.

I'm not part of the Star Wars fandom. In fact, I've never cared about Star Wars at all. But I do care for movies and entertainment art in general, so I feel 100% qualified to hate every bit of The Acolyte, that I've seen so far, simply because it's anti-creativity, anti-art, and anti-merit. It's the laziest, stupidest, emptiest piece of entertainment I've ever seen. And looking at what Hollywood produced over the last 5 years, that's actually saying something. Now, the fact that the producers and certain media outlets constantly behave like whiney teenagers, just because they can't handle a valid reaction to their pitiful product, just makes it ten times worse.

Kennedy/Headley openly stated they did not like the original 6 Star Wars movies (too White, too male, too heterosexual), and stated they were going to recreate the Star Wars universe to suit their woke ideals. Storylines, and even Star Wars canon and mythology became secondary to promoting a social agenda. So they trashed what Star Wars fans loved over the past decades, and just expected them to accept and not complain.
