so great finally a film not maligning him and out of the control of the toxic twins, Brian will always be the best Stone

It's a little too easy to blame Jagger & Richards. Yes, they were cunts. So was Jones; he became unbearable, and by the time he was shit - canned, useless as far as performance was concerned. Look at the R&R Circus movie. He's not really there; that was due to his own preoccupations.

Absolutely fabulous presentation you deserve an award. I knew Brian in those days 60s. Also Phil May. Those where the days I will never forget. Night clubs in London. The best case scenario ever your film on Brian's murder. Thank you sincerely.

I think personally Brian Jones had the wrong people around him near the end of his life, what he really needed was professional help, not sure if that was available in 1969.

#ugottacthisb4udie Lewis Brian Hopkins Jones (28 February 1942 - 3 July 1969) Jones left Cheltenham and moved to London, where he became friends with fellow musicians Alexis Korner, future Manfred Mann singer Paul Jones, future Cream bassist Jack Bruce, and others who made up the small London rhythm and blues and jazz scene. Jones became a blues musician, for a brief time calling himself "Elmo Lewis", and playing slide guitar. He also started a group with Paul Jones called the Roosters. In January 1963, after both Brian and Paul left the group, Eric Clapton took over Brian's position as guitarist. wiki

After watching this movie you'll kinda hate Mick and Keith. And more importantly, the Sussex police. That sucks man, more than 50 years covering the truth. I hope Brian's ghost torment them for eternity.

Absolutely the nearest to the truth this film. A really telling truth about Brian. The highlight for me was Scott Jones investigation. Oh and I picked up on Sgt Norman Pilcher. The guy who planted the drugs in that era on the rock stars. He got a prison sentence for perverting the course of justice.

Brian made the Stones the best Rock band of the era. Unlike the Beatles, the Stones could play most of their Psychedelic pop music live - the problem was they s=could not travel in that era because of Brian's drug charges.

So sad they did not investigate his accident better for the truth, few too many got away with way too much re: #BrianJones. R I P xo
@thesummerland61654 жыл бұрын
I think the local police wanted to but were overridden by CID..Keylock's brother was in CID and they passed it off as misadventure...his payment and belongings, all disappeared...there was a bonfire where Keylock burned his things
@stealthbastard88373 жыл бұрын
They wanted to make an example of him, that's why they didn't investigate. They wanted to finish the Stones. It was no accident, it was murder. It's said that even the killer (Thorogood) confessed before he died.

@thesummerland61654 жыл бұрын
he had a sad childhood, devoid of love, blamed for the death of a younger sister from leukemia.. ...Loog Oldman and Mick screwed him over, Mick and Keef were envious of him, Keef and Anita betrayed/backstabbed him, cops planted drugs on him..and he probably had fibromyalgia and bipolar....he had to deal with a lot from all angles, everyone used him and no one looked out for him, only 27 ..so talented..as George Harrison said, 'there was nothing wrong with him that a little love couldn't have helped'..but he had the bad luck to be surrounded by self serving sharks Mick and Keef, envious of his intellect, musicianship, and class...he's the one who started it all, and once they made it, they resented him for it and treated him horribly, Keef sacked Thorogood and sent him to Brian. RIP, Brian, you were the most special Stone
@stealthbastard88373 жыл бұрын
@@thesummerland6165 not sure about the last part about Keef, i don't think so. Thorogood was working on Brian's house, nobody sent him. But he murdered Brian, he even confessed before dying. Sussex police are a bunch of corrupt fuckers.
