One of Mick Taylor's finest guitar solos...everything he does throughout this version of this song is one of his finest moments

The Golden years of the Stones. When Taylor was the lead guitarist. Should have treated him better. Might have stuck around.

Should have treated him better ... always wondered why Wyman's replacement at Bass was never even annointed as a Rolling Stone as well.

Had this on a bootleg lp in early 70's and always thought at the 1 min 48 second mark that MJ said" Mistah Taylor... Mr. Taylor" as MT starts this lead. Unfortunately, it is the first, last and only time I heard MJ give Taylor that much respect.
@765claire2 жыл бұрын
MJ talked to MT in songs quite a lot, this isn't the only time.
@patdwyer52042 жыл бұрын
@@765claire With respect ? I can not think of anywhere in 70, 71 or 72 shows. MJ skipped MT in band intros a few times. What other songs ? I always thought a lot of the great guitar work was Keith until I saw them live and saw who was playing what. Same with Aerosmith..... a lot of the great guitar work on albums I thought was Joe Perry was actually Brad Whitford. "100 Years Ago" I thought was Keith.... "Hide Your Love", "Moonlight Mile", etc. I never saw the Stones give MT much of anything.....

Yup.... Same here seeing Aerosmith and Stones and being surprised which guitar was played by who. Especially "Lord Of The Thighs"....

The other guitarist wasn’t fond of Taylor getting adoration from anyone never mind the lead singer. Very unfortunate.
